Johanna Raunio
Johanna Raunio (born 5 November 1954 in Turku) is a Finnish actress and beauty pageant titleholder who was chosen Miss Finland in 1974. Ms. Raunio competed in the Miss Universe 1974 and Miss International 1974 pageants and placed second runner-up in both competitions. She works nowadays as a hostess and actress. From 2005 to 2009, she played Tanja Jääskeläinen in the Finnish soap series ''Salatut elämät'' on MTV3 MTV3 ( fi, MTV Kolme, sv, MTV Tre) is a Finnish commercial television station. It had the biggest audience share of all Finnish TV channels until Yle TV1 (from Yle) took the lead. The letters MTV stand for Mainos-TV (literally "Advertisement .... Miss Suomi (Finnish for ''Miss Finland'') is a national beauty pageant in Finland. The pageant was founded in 1931, where the winners were sent to Miss Universe. History Miss Suomi was held for the first time in 1931. Between 1952 and 1955 the winner of Suomen Neito went to Miss Universe, where Armi Kuusela was also crowned as the first Miss Universe in Long Beach by actress Piper Laurie in 1952. Miss Universe 1974 was the 23rd Miss Universe pageant, held on 21 July 1974 at the Folk Arts Theater in the Manila, City of Manila, Philippines. It was the first Miss Universe pageant to ever be held in the Philippines, and in extension, Southeast Asia. Margie Moran of the Philippines crowned her successor Amparo Muñoz of Spain at the end of the event, marking the first and only time Spain would ever win a Miss Universe competition. Miss International (''Miss International Beauty'' or ''The International Beauty Pageant'') is a Japan-based international beauty pageant organized by the International Culture Association. First held in 1960, it is the fourth largest pageant in the world in terms of the number of national winners participating in the international contest. Along with Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss Earth, the pageant is one of the Big Four international beauty pageants. Salatut Elämät
''Salatut elämät'' ("Secret Lives", literally "Concealed Lives") is a Finnish television soap opera that premiered on MTV3 on 25 January 1999. The series' storylines follow the daily lives of several families who live in the same apartment block in Helsinki. The series primarily centres on the residents of Pihlajakatu and its neighbouring areas.
