Johan Rasmussen
Johan Rasmussen (born 18 July 1970) is a Swedish former ski jumper. He competed in the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup from 1990 to 1996, with twelfth place being his best career finish. He also competed in three World Championships and the 1994 Olympics. He was born in Borås, and represented the club IF Friska Viljor in Örnsköldsvik. He made his World Cup debut in March 1990 with a 71st place in Örnsköldsvik, and made three starts in 1991. He also participated in the 1991 World Ski Championships. He made ten starts in the 1991–1992 World Cup, collecting his first World Cup points with a 21st place in March 1992 in Trondheim. In the 1992–1993 World Cup he participated in the Four Hills Tournament, and collected World Cup points three times there before achieving a career best; a 20th place in Lahti in March 1993. Borås
Borås ( , , ) is a city (officially, a locality) and the seat of Borås Municipality, Västra Götaland County, Sweden. It had 66,273 inhabitants in 2010. Geography Borås is located at the point of two crossing railways, among them the railway between Gothenburg and Kalmar, and is often considered the Swedish city gaining the most from the nationwide railway system laid between 1870 and 1910. Predazzo
Predazzo (, literally big meadow) is a village and ''comune'' in the province of Trento, northern Italy. Predazzo is located about 58 kilometres northeast of Trento in Val di Fiemme. It is one of the main centers of Val di Fiemme (the other is Cavalese), being the most populous and widespread of the valley. It is an important road junction and trade between the valleys of Fiemme and Fassa and the area of Primiero. Predazzo is also the home of Pastificio Felicetti, a maker of pasta. A ski is a narrow strip of semi-rigid material worn underfoot to glide over snow. Substantially longer than wide and characteristically employed in pairs, skis are attached to ski boots with ski bindings, with either a free, lockable, or partially secured heel. For climbing slopes, ski skins (originally made of seal fur, but now made of synthetic materials) can be attached at the base of the ski. Originally intended as an aid to travel over snow, they are now mainly used recreationally in the sport of skiing.
