He is conductor of the Flemish Radio Choir, the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields Chorus in London and the Gents Madrigaalkoor. He is regularly invited as a guest conductor of renowned ensembles such as the Orquesta Sinfónica Real de Sevilla, the Dartington Festival Orchestra, the Danish Radio Choir and others. As a composer he is dedicated to piano and choral music. His works ''Alma de la música'' and ''The Well-Tempered Pianist'' have received international acclaim. Annelies Van Parys (born 5 June 1975) is a Belgian classical composer of chamber music, symphonic music, music for theatre productions and opera. Life Born in Bruges, Van Parys studied at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent, piano with Johan Duijck and composition with Luc Brewaeys. She composed in 2001 ''Phrases V'' for guitar, harp, piano and percussion. The piece of about 9 minutes was written for the Ictus Ensemble and premiered in Bruges by the ensemble Contr'Art. It was awarded the prize Vlaanderen/Quebec and was performed in Montreal on 15 May 2002. In 2005, she wrote ''Méditation'', a piece of about 7 minutes for a double wind quintet. Ignace Michiels
Ignace Michiels (born 7 December 1963) is a Belgian organist, choral conductor and organ teacher. He is internationally known as a concert organist. Career Michiels studied the organ, the piano and the harpsichord at the music academy of Bruges. In 1986 he won a prize at the Lemmensinstituut in Leuven. He continued his studies with Robert Anderson at the Southern Methodist University in Dallas, with Herman Verschraegen at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, and with Odile Pierre at the Conservatoire de Paris where he graduated with a Prix d'Excellence. He also received the Higher Diploma of organ music at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent. Ignace Michiels has been teaching organ at the Royal Conservatory in Ghent and the music academy of Bruges.
