Johan Blackstad
Johan Blackstad (16 November 1832 – 8 November 1904) was a Norwegian judge and politician for the Conservative Party of Norway, Conservative Party. He was born in Bergen and took the cand.jur. degree in 1857. He was hired in the Norwegian Ministry of Justice and the Police in 1860, and in 1870 he went on to become district stipendiary magistrate in Varanger Peninsula, Varanger. From 1874 to 1882 he served as List of County Governors of Finnmark, County Governor of ''Finnmarkens Amt''. While stationed here he was elected twice to the Storting, Norwegian Parliament from the constituency ''Hammerfest, Vardø og Vadsø''. He left Parliament in 1885 during a very critical time for the Conservative Party. In 1882 he became district stipendiary magistrate in ''Eker, Modum og Sigdal'', and in 1889 he became presiding judge in Eidsivating Court of Appeal. The Conservative Party or The Right ( nb, Høyre, nn, Høgre, , H; se, Olgešbellodat) is a liberal-conservative political party in Norway. Bernhard Getz
Bernhard Getz (21 March 1850 – 1 November 1901) was a Norwegian judge, professor, law reformer and Mayor of Oslo. He was born at Strinda in Sør-Trøndelag, Norway. He was the son of merchant Anton Lauritz Getz (1817–68) and Anna Christence Jenssen (1825–94). He graduated artium at Trondheim Cathedral School in 1868. He traveled abroad with public scholarships in 1875, stayed for the most part in Leipzig to study criminal law and legal proceedings. In 1876, Getz was appointed professor of law at the University of Kristiania. He took his law degree in 1889 at the University of Copenhagen. Jens Holmboe (politician)
Jens Holmboe (14 July 1821 – 13 July 1891) was a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party of Norway, Conservative Party. A jurist by education, he was a member of the Storting, Norwegian Parliament for five terms, and held several different government posts from 1874 to 1884. Personal life He was born in Tromsøe as the son of Michael Wide Holmboe (1791–1863) and his wife Anna Rasch Schjelderup (1794–1878). He had several brothers and sisters, including businessman Conrad Holmboe, Hans Conrad Holmboe. His grandfather Jens Holmboe (bailiff), of the same name was a bailiff, and his uncles Even Hammer Holmboe and Hans Holmboe and Leonhard Christian Borchgrevink Holmboe became involved in politics.
