Jogu Ramanna
Jogu Ramanna (born 4 July 1963) is an Indian politician who was the Minister of Forest and Environment & Backward Classes Welfare of Telangana from 2 June 2014 to 6 September 2018. He is a Member of the Telangana Legislative Assembly from Adilabad constituency since 2 June 2014. He was earlier a member of Telugu Desam Party. He is an M.L.A. from Adilabad assembly constituency from past four times 2018, 2014, 2012 by elections and 2009 also. He contested from Adilabad seat on BRS ticket in the 2023 Telangana Assembly Elections and lost the seat to BJP's Payal Shanker by 6,692 votes. Early life Ramanna was born in Deepaiguda village of Adilabad district. Career Ramanna started his political career as Sarpanch for Deepaiguda village. He served as MPTC for Jainath and ZPTC. A sarpanch ( IAST: ''Sarpañch'' Hindi: ''सरपंच'') or Gram Pradhan or Mukhiya is a decision-maker, elected by the village-level constitutional body of local self-government called the Gram Sabha (village government) in India. The Sarpanch, together with other elected panchayat members (referred to as ''ward panch''), constitute gram panchayats and zilla panchayats. 2014 Telangana Legislative Assembly Election
The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, 2014 took place on 30 April and 7 May 2014 to elect members to the legislatures of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It was held concurrently with the Indian general election. The results were declared on 16 May 2014. The Telugu Desam Party led by N. Chandrababu Naidu won a majority of the 175 seats in the rump Andhra Pradesh, while Telangana Rashtra Samithi led by K. Chandrashekar Rao won in the new state of Telangana. Nagam Janardhan Reddy (born May 22, 1948) is an Indian politician. Reddy is a five term member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly, representing the Nagarkurnool constituency. Political career Nagam Janardhan Reddy started his political career with Telugu Desam Party. He served as a Member of Legislative Assembly from Nagarkurnool. He was the Minister of Health in the state of United Andhra Pradesh from the year 1995 to 2004. In the year 2011 he was suspended from the Telugu Desam Party for anti party activities. Adilabad district is a district located in the northern region of Telangana, India. It is known as the gateway district to South and Central India. The town of Adilabad is its headquarters.
