Joey Abell
Joey Abell (born May 16, 1981) is an American professional boxer. Personal life Abell is a native of Minneapolis, Minnesota. He attended Champlin Park High School, and later played football at South Dakota State University, where he majored in Education and Human Science. Amateur career As an amateur, Abell won a silver medal at the 1998 U.S. Junior Championships at 201 lbs, losing to Malik Scott in the final. He later won gold in the super heavyweight division at the 1999 Under-19 Championships. Professional career The first fight of Abell's professional career was marred when his opponent, Ritchie Goosehead, fell through the ropes and landed on the cement. The fight was ruled a no-contest. Abell knocked out Goosehead in his second professional fight about a month later. Abell remained undefeated through ten bouts, then he was KOd by Aaron Lyons at The Blue Horizon in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Abell later rematched Lyons and KO'd him. Alfred Rudolph Cole (born April 21, 1964), best known as Al Cole, is an American former professional boxer. He won the IBF cruiserweight title and was a major force in the division until moving up to heavyweight, where he had less success. In 2001, Cole portrayed boxer Ernie Terrell in the film ''Ali''. Career Cole, at 6'4", was a large and dominant cruiserweight boxer. Later in his career, he did not have the size or power to compete at the upper echelon of the heavyweight division when he moved up in weight class. He listed his hometown as Spring Valley, New York. Cole began his career on a 20-1 tear and captured the cruiserweight title by defeating IBF champ James Warring after only three years as a professional. Cole went on to defend the title five times. Blaine is a suburban city in Anoka and Ramsey counties in the State of Minnesota, United States. Once a rural town, Blaine's population has increased significantly in the last 60 years. Raymond Andrew Ochieng (born 26 January 1977) is a Kenyan professional boxer. Career Ochieng compiled an amateur record of 169 wins with 11 losses in his career as an amateur. He turned professional on 12 December 2002, beating fellow débutante Luke Okeno by knockout in the second round. Ochieng since then went 4–3 in his next seven with three of those losses coming to Mashaka Mululu, Krzysztof Wlodarczyk and Samson Onyango. Radom is a city in east-central Poland, located approximately south of the capital, Warsaw. Krzysztof Zimnoch (born 6 September 1983) is a Polish professional heavyweight boxer affiliated to the Hetman Białystok Boxing Club. He holds an amateur win over former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder.
