Joep Zweegers
Joep Zweegers (born 25 August 1992) is a Dutch footballer who plays for Belgian side Esperanza Neerpelt. Career Zweegers joined Helmond Sport at the age of 18 on a one-year deal to go through the ranks but when his contract expired he decided to join FC Eindhoven on a-three year deal in July 2011. FC Eindhoven Zweegers debut came 8 months later coming on as a 90th minute substitute in a 3-1 away win against Go Ahead Eagles. He played 6 league games in his first season playing for FC Eindhoven. In his second season, he started the second match of the season which ended in a 2-1 for FC Eindhoven, his second game of the season came three months later in a 3-0 away loss against FC Dordrecht. In his second season, he played 12 games taking his total to 18 games in 2 years. In the 2013/14 season, Zweegers entered the last 12 months of his contract. Geldrop
Geldrop is a town in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is in the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo, around 5 km east of Eindhoven city centre. Geldrop was a separate municipality until 2004, when it merged with Mierlo. Geldrop is noted for having a neighbourhood with streets named after characters and elements from the works of J. R. R. Tolkien. The spoken language is "Geldrops", a distinct dialect within the East Brabantian dialect group and very similar to colloquial Dutch. Transport The A67 motorway (part of European route E34) links Geldrop with Eindhoven. Geldrop railway station is on the Eindhoven–Weert line. Helmond Sport
Helmond Sport is a professional association football club based in the city of Helmond, North Brabant, Netherlands, that competes in the Eerste Divisie, the second tier of the Dutch football league system. The club was founded on 27 June 1967, as a breakaway from the local professional club Helmondia '55, which had gone bankrupt. History The club was founded in 1967, after the professional license was taken over from RKSV Helmondia '55 in order to keep professional football in Helmond. Helmond Sport started in the Tweede Divisie. After only a year, the club was promoted to the First Division after winning the promotion matches against Fortuna Vlaardingen and SC Veendam. In 1982, the team were promoted to the Eredivisie. There, they would play for two seasons, before being relegated back to the Eerste Divisie. Go Ahead Eagles () are a Dutch professional football club from the city of Deventer. They play in the Eredivisie, the top tier of Dutch football, having achieved promotion from the second tier Eerste Divisie in the 2020-21 season.
