Joe Schomacker
Joseph "Joe" Roy Schomacker (born March 25, 1986) is an American politician and member of the Minnesota House of Representatives. A member of the Republican Party of Minnesota, he represents District 22A, which includes all or portions of Cottonwood, Lincoln, Lyon, Murray, Nobles, Pipestone, and Rock counties in the southwestern part of the state. He is also an independent public relations consultant. Education Schomacker graduated from Luverne Senior High School in Luverne, then went on to Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, earning his B.A. in public administration, speech communication and political science in 2008. He served as the university's student body president from 2007-2008. In 2010, he earned his M.P.S. online from George Washington University, based in Washington, D.C. Doug Magnus
Douglas Rudy Magnus (born November 1950) is an American, Minnesota politician and a former member of the Minnesota Senate, who represented District 22, which includes all of Cottonwood, Jackson, Murray, Nobles, Pipestone and Rock counties in the southwestern part of the state. A Republican, he is also a farmer. Magnus previously served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2003–2011, representing District 22A, which essentially includes the western half of the senate district. On April 6, 2010, he announced that he would not seek a fifth term in the House, but would run for the Senate seat being vacated by retiring Senator Jim Vickerman. He subsequently won that seat in the November 2, 2010, general election.
