The 2019–20 Boston University Terriers men's basketball team represented Boston University during the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Terriers, led by ninth-year head coach Joe Jones, played their home games at Case Gym as members of the Patriot League. They finished the season 21–13, 12–6 in Patriot League play to finish in a tie for second place. They defeated Navy, Bucknell and Colgate to be champions of the Patriot League tournament. Loyola Greyhounds Men's Basketball
The Loyola Greyhounds men's basketball team represents Loyola University Maryland in National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I competition. They are currently led by third-year head coach Tavaras Hardy. It became a member of the Patriot League along with the university's other intercollegiate athletic programs on July 1, 2013. The America East Conference is a collegiate athletic conference affiliated with NCAA Division I founded in 1979, whose members are located in the Northeastern United States. The conference has nine core members including eight public research universities, three of which, the University of Maine, the University of New Hampshire, and the University of Vermont, are the flagship universities of their states. Armond Hill
Armond G. Hill (born March 31, 1953) is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is Director of Basketball Administration for Indiana University men's basketball. He spent eight seasons in the NBA between 1976 and 1984, playing for the Atlanta Hawks, Seattle SuperSonics, San Diego Clippers and Milwaukee Bucks. Stephan Thomas Lappas (born March 18, 1954) is an American former college basketball coach. Jerold Taylor "Jay" Wright Jr. (born December 24, 1961) is an American former college basketball coach. He served as the head coach of Villanova University from 2001 until 2022. Wright led the Villanova to six Big East Conference championships and 16 NCAA Tournament appearances in his 21 seasons as head coach. Under Wright, Villanova reached four Final Fours (2009, 2016, 2018, 2022) and won two National championships in 2016 and 2018.
