Joaquín Niemann (born 7 November 1998) is a Chilean professional golfer. He has won twice on the PGA Tour. He was the number one ranked amateur golfer from May 2017 to April 2018. Amateur career Niemann was the number one ranked golfer in the World Amateur Golf Ranking for 44 weeks, from May 2017 to April 2018, when he turned professional. Niemann planned to play at the University of South Florida, but he was unable to gain entry due to his TOEFL scores. Niemann won the 2017 Mark H. McCormack Medal for being the top-ranked player in the World Amateur Golf Ranking at the conclusion of the summer's championship season, thus gaining entry into the 2018 U.S. Open and into the 2018 Open Championship. The Genesis Invitational is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour in southern California, first played in 1926 as the Los Angeles Open. Other previous names include Genesis Open, Northern Trust Open and Nissan Open. Cameron Hugh Davis (born 21 February 1995) is an Australian professional golfer. He had a successful amateur career, winning the Australian Amateur and the individual and team events at the Eisenhower Trophy. Harris English (born July 23, 1989) is an American professional golfer and currently a member of the PGA Tour. Amateur career Born in Valdosta, Georgia, English attended The Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, for high school, graduating in 2007. While at Baylor, English won a 2005 Tennessee individual state title, and won four Tennessee team state titles from 2004 to 2007.
