Joaquín Menini
Joaquín Menini (born 18 August 1991) is an Argentine field hockey player who plays as a forward for Dutch Hoofdklasse club Rotterdam and the Spanish national team. He was part of the Argentine team that won gold in men's field hockey at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. International career Argentina He made his debut for the Argentina national team in 2011 in a Champions Challenge's tournament played in South Africa. He won his first gold medal in 2014 South American Games. Menini was part of the Argentina squad that won the bronze medal 2014 World Cup, he also played at the 2018 World Cup. Men's Pan American Cup (field Hockey)
The Men's Pan American Cup is a men's international field hockey competition organised by the Pan American Hockey Federation. The winning team becomes the champion of the Americas and qualifies for the FIH Hockey World Cup. Argentina has won the tournament four times. Canada and Cuba have both won the tournament once. Club de Campo Villa de Madrid is a country and sports club located in Madrid, Spain. The club was formed in 1929, and is one of the most known in the city. It has a wide array of sports facilities including two championship 18-hole golf courses, hockey pitches, tennis and padel courts, horse-riding facilities and swimming pools. The England men's national field hockey team competes in most major international tournaments except the Olympic Games. England's only appearance at the Olympics was at London 1908 when they won gold; since then English players have competed at the Olympics as part of the combined Great Britain national field hockey team. The Men's Hoofdklasse Hockey, currently known as the Tulp Hoofdklasse Men for sponsorship reasons, is the men's top division of field hockey in the Netherlands. The league ranks third in the European league ranking table. The league was established in 1973, and before the league existed the champions of the several district played in a championship pool to determine the national champion. Bloemendaal are the current champions, having won the 2021–22 season by defeating Pinoké in the championship final. Bloemendaal has the most titles with 22 followed by Amsterdam with 21. Field Hockey At The 2014 South American Games
The men's and women's field hockey competitions at the 2014 South American Games were the second inclusion of hockey at the South American Games. Both tournaments were held in conjunction with one another between 8 and 16 March 2014 at Club Deportivo Manquehue in Santiago, Chile. In the men's tournament, Argentina won the gold medal for the second time by defeating Chile 8–1 in the final. Venezuela won the bronze medal by defeating Brazil 3–2 in the bronze-medal match.
