Joan Vila Dilme (born 1966) is a Spanish serial killer who was convicted of killing 11 elderly patients. Biography Joan Vila Dilme was born in 1966 in Spain. He worked as a security guard at the La Caritat convalescent home in Olot. Vila was arrested on October 18, 2010, after the death of 85-year-old Paquita Gironès. Vila had forced her to drink bleach. He confessed to killing 3 elderly patients by giving them bleach Vila was sentenced to 127 years in prison on June 20, 2013.
