Joakim Pirinen
Joakim Pirinen (born 28 May 1961 in Solna, Stockholm County) is a Swedish illustrator, author, and comic creator. One of the most acclaimed artists to make his debut during the 1980s wave of "artistic" and "adult" comics in Sweden, Pirinen was, and still is, a regular contributor to the Swedish alternative comics magazine ''Galago''. Pirinen's comic album debut came in 1984 with ''Välkommen Till Sandlådan'' (''"Welcome to the Sandbox"''), but his true breakthrough came with ''Socker-Conny'' (''"Sugar-Conny"'') in 1985, a graphic novel about an anarchistic borderline personality. Pirinen has a very distinct and unique style, playing as few of his peers with art and language, with time and space. Joakim or Joacim is a male given name primarily used in Scandinavian languages and Finnish. It is derived from a transliteration of the Hebrew יהוֹיָקִים, and literally means "lifted by Jehovah". In the Old Testament, Jehoiakim was a king of Judah. In deutero-canonical texts, Joakim is the husband of Susanna, the central character in the narrative of Susanna (Daniel 13), and the high priest who leads the people of Israel in prayer in the Book of Judith. In the Roman Catholic, Orthodox, and Anglican traditions, Saint Joachim was the husband of Saint Anne and the father of Mary, the mother of Jesus. Sweden Finns ( fi, ruotsinsuomalaiset; sv, sverigefinnar) are a Finnish-speaking national minority in Sweden. Solna Municipality ( sv, Solna kommun or , ) is a municipality in Stockholm County in Sweden, located just north of Stockholm City Centre. Its seat is located in the town of Solna, which is a part of the Stockholm urban area. Solna is one of the richest municipalities in Sweden. The municipality is a part of Metropolitan Stockholm. Borderline personality disorder (BPD), also known as emotionally unstable personality disorder (EUPD), is a personality disorder characterized by a long-term pattern of unstable interpersonal relationships, distorted sense of self, and strong emotional reactions.
