Jiu Jitsu (film)
''Jiu Jitsu'' is a 2020 American science fiction martial arts film directed and co-written by Dimitri Logothetis and starring Alain Moussi, Frank Grillo, JuJu Chan, Tony Jaa and Nicolas Cage. The film is based on the 2017 comic book of the same name by Logothetis and Jim McGrath. The film was a box office bomb, grossing less than $100,000 against a budget of over $25 million, and was critically panned. Plot Every six years, an ancient order of expert Jiu Jitsu fighters faces a vicious race of alien invaders in a battle for Earth. For thousands of years the invaders have lost to Earth's defenders, up until now. Earth's future is in jeopardy. Dimitri Logothetis
Dimitri Logothetis is a Greek-American actor, director, comedian, and producer. Early life Logothetis was born in Athens, Greece, and immigrated to the United States of America at the age of six with his mother, Anna, and his father, Euthymios. Euthymios moved to the United States to join his family, Dimitri's father spent eight years working as a mechanic in Los Angeles and became an American citizen. Logothetis attended Beverly Vista Grammar School and Lawndale High School in the Los Angeles South Bay area where he played football and ran track. Career In his last year at Loyola, Logothetis was hired by Capitol Records to record the US tour of the rock band The Knack. Screen Anarchy, previously known as Twitch Film or Twitch, is a Canadian English-language website featuring news and reviews of mainly international, independent and cult films. The website was founded in 2004 by Todd Brown. In addition to films, the website covers various film festivals from Sundance, Toronto and Fantasia to Sitges, Cannes and the Berlinale. Eddie Steeples (born November 25, 1973) is an American actor known for his roles as the "Rubberband Man" in an advertising campaign for OfficeMax, Cal in ''Would You Rather'', and as Darnell Turner on the NBC sitcom ''My Name Is Earl''. Life and career Steeples was born and raised in Spring, Texas, the oldest of eight children.
