Jinzō Toriumi
was a Japanese screenwriter who first began his career during the "revolutionary era" of Japanese animation on ''Mach GoGoGo'' (''Speed Racer''), ''Science Ninja Team Gatchaman'' (''Battle of the Planets/G-Force''), and ''Yatterman''. Toriumi was born in the northern Japanese prefecture of Hokkaidō. After trying his hand at live-action at Nikkatsu, he began writing animation scripts at Mushi Productions for ''Mighty Atom'' (''Astro Boy'') in 1964. He went on to devote himself full-time to television at Tatsunoko Production in 1965. He contributed to ''Casshern'', '' Tekkaman'' and ''Time Bokan''. He later began writing for such Sunrise works as ''Armored Trooper VOTOMS'', ''Yoroiden Samurai Troopers'' (''Ronin Warriors''), ''Mister Ajikko''. Takikawa, Hokkaido
is a city located in the Sorachi Subprefecture, Hokkaido, Japan. Takikawa City is located in the central area of Hokkaido, it is conveniently located between the cities of Sapporo (biggest city) and Asahikawa (the second biggest city). Armored Trooper VOTOMS
is a Japanese military science fiction mecha anime series produced by Nippon Sunrise, created and directed by Ryosuke Takahashi and featuring mechanical designs by Kunio Okawara. is Japanese manga series by Noboru Kawasaki and serialized by Shogakukan in '' Shogakukan no Gakushū Zasshi''. The manga series won the 14th Shogakukan Manga Award. is a Japanese anime television series created by Tatsuo Yoshida and directed by Ippei Kuri. The series aired on Fuji TV from April 2, 1969, to September 24, 1969, totaling 26 episodes. Himitsu No Akko-chan
is a popular pioneering magical girl manga and anime that ran in Japan during the 1960s. The manga was drawn and written by Fujio Akatsuka, and was published in '' Ribon'' from 1962 to 1965. It predates the '' Mahōtsukai Sunny'' (whose name became Sally in the ''Mahōtsukai Sally'' anime) manga, printed in 1966. However, that title is the first magical girl anime as ''Himitsu no Akko-chan'' was not broadcast until 1969. The original anime ran for 94 episodes from 1969 to 1970. It was animated by Toei Animation and broadcast by TV Asahi (then known as NET).
