Jim Clayburgh
Jim Clayburgh (born 23 May 1949) is a scenic designer. He was a founding member of The Wooster Group and served as the group's resident designer from 1975 to 1994. He currently lives in Brussels, Belgium, where he founded the company JOJI INC with choreographer and dancer , and continues to design for theatre, film, dance and opera both in the USA and in Europe. Life and career Jim Clayburgh is the brother of actress Jill Clayburgh (1944–2010). With partner Johanne Saunier, he has two sons. Inverna Lockpez
Inverna Lockpez (born November 21, 1941) is a Cuban American painter, sculptor, and activist, that participated in the second wave of America's feminist movement. She is known for her graphic novel ''Cuba: My Revolution'' (illustrated by Dean Haspiel), a fictionalized memoir of her life prior to coming to the United States. Biography Inverna Lockpez was born in Havana, Cuba. Growing up, Lockpez yearned to be an artist although her mother wanted her to follow in her father’s footsteps and be a doctor. However, in 1959, after Fidel Castro overthrew Cuban President Fulgencio Batista, Lockpez decided to set aside art and pursue a career in medical studies. During the 1961 Bay of Pigs Invasion, Lockpez was a volunteer doctor and went to the front-lines to help. There, Lockpez helped an injured prisoner and was arrested for conspiracy. The Royal Theatre of La Monnaie (french: Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie, italic=no, ; nl, Koninklijke Muntschouwburg, italic=no; both translating as the "Royal Theatre of the Mint") is an opera house in central Brussels, Belgium. Wim Vandekeybus
Wim Vandekeybus (Herenthout, 30 June 1963) is a Belgian choreographer, director and photographer. His company Ultima Vez is located in Sint-Jans-Molenbeek (Brussels). Together with Jan Fabre, Alain Platel and Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, Wim Vandekeybus has been responsible for the Flemish Wave in contemporary dance in the 80's. He made over thirty international dance and theater productions and almost as many movies and video works. The Conservatoire de Paris (), also known as the Paris Conservatory, is a college of music and dance founded in 1795. Douglas Becker is a choreographer and dance teacher from the United States, who works in ballet, contemporary dance, and dance improvisation. A founding member and principal dancer of the Frankfurt Ballet under the direction of choreographer William Forsythe (choreographer), William Forsythe, he was involved in the development of many of Forsythe's early signature pieces and is one of only a few people with the authority to remount his repertory. Pierre Droulers (born 5 July 1951 in La Madeleine, Nord, La Madeleine, France) is a French and Belgian choreographer and dancer. He spent three years in artistic training at Maurice Béjart's Mudra School in Brussels and then studied with Jerzy Grotowski in Poland.
