Jillian Babin
Jillian Elizabeth Babin (born November 7, 1989) is a Canadian curler from Fredericton, New Brunswick. She currently plays second on Team Andrea Crawford. She has won five New Brunswick Scotties Tournament of Hearts and represented New Brunswick at the 2007 Canada Winter Games. Career Juniors Babin won one provincial junior title in 2009 as third for Ashley Howard. At the 2009 Canadian Junior Curling Championships in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, The Howard rink finished in eighth place with a 5–7 record. Also with Howard, she represented New Brunswick at the 2007 Canada Winter Games, where they just missed the playoffs with a 3–2 record. Women's Babin won the 2010 New Brunswick Scotties Tournament of Hearts as second for the Andrea Crawford rink. At the 2010 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the team went 5–6, missing the playoffs. The Steele Cup Cash is an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, held at the Capital Winter Club in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Cathlia Ward
Cathlia Mary Ward (born May 14, 1994) is a Canadian curler. She currently plays lead on Team Amélie Blais. Career Juniors Ward's first national level event was at the 2013 Canadian Junior Curling Championships as third for Jessica Daigle. There, her team went 4–6 threw the round robin and championship pool, missing the playoffs. She returned the following year with the same team as in 2013 and they once again went 4–6. She was the alternate for Corryn Brown at the 2013 World Junior Curling Championships where the team went 3–6. Women's Out of juniors, Ward joined the Melissa Adams rink at second. They competed in local World Curling Tour events with their best finish at the WFG Jim Sullivan Curling Classic where they won the title. Sarah Mallais
Sarah Mallais (born January 11, 1989 as Sarah Berthelot) is a Canadian curler from Moncton, New Brunswick. She currently plays third on Team Sylvie Quillian. Career In her junior years, Mallais represented New Brunswick at the 2007 Canada Games. The team narrowly missed the playoffs, finishing with a 3–2 record. She also represented NB at the 2006 Canadian Junior Curling Championships where the team went 5–6. Mallais lost the final of the 2009 provincial championship as second for Mary Jane McGuire. She played in the 2010 Sobeys Slam as lead for the Melissa Adams rink. They won no games and finished 0–3 in the triple knockout. Jennifer Armstrong (born August 1, 1992) is a Canadian curler from White City, Saskatchewan. She currently plays second on Team Nancy Martin. She is a three-time New Brunswick Scotties Tournament of Hearts champion. Career Juniors Armstrong's first national level event was at the 2011 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. There, she skipped her team to a 7–5 round robin record. In 2012 she went on to represent New Brunswick again at the Canadian Juniors. In 2014, she represented UNB at the 2014 CIS/CCA Curling Championships. Women's Out of juniors, Armstrong joined the Melissa Adams rink at third. 2012 Scotties Tournament Of Hearts
The 2012 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the Canadian women's national curling championship, was held from Saturday, February 18 to Sunday, February 26 at the ENMAX Centrium in Red Deer, Alberta. This Tournament of Hearts marked the second time that Red Deer has hosted the Scotties; the first time that the Scotties was hosted in Red Deer was in 2004. The winning team, Heather Nedohin of Alberta, went on to represent Canada at the 2012 Ford World Women's Curling Championship in Lethbridge, Alberta. Nedohin won the final after she defeated British Columbia's Kelly Scott with a score of 7–6. 2011 Scotties Tournament Of Hearts
The 2011 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the Canadian women's national curling championship, was held from February 19 to February 27 at the Charlottetown Civic Centre in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Sylvie Robichaud
Sylvie Quillian (born June 18, 1980 as Sylvie Robichaud) is a Canadian curler from Riverview, New Brunswick. She has won four New Brunswick Scotties Tournament of Hearts and was the New Brunswick provincial junior champion from 1999–2001. Career Juniors Quillian skipped the New Brunswick team at three straight Canadian Junior Curling Championships from 1999–2001. She had a 6–6 sixth place finish in 1999 and a 4–8 eleventh place finish in 2000. Her best finish came in 2001 where she finished with a 7–5 record, just missing the playoffs. Women's Quillian won her first New Brunswick Scotties Tournament of Hearts in 2008 with teammates Danielle Nicholson, Marie Richard and Julie Carrier. At the 2008 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, her team finished in last place with a 1–10 record.
