The Miss Montana USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Montana in the Miss USA pageant. From 1994 to 2007, it was directed by Carol Hirata and the Carlton Group, based in Bellvue, Colorado. In 2013, it was taken by Pageants NW Productions based in Puyallup, Washington. Sharon D. Tietjen placed in the Top 15 in 1958, having the longest streak failing to place in the finals, the record had been broken in 2022, where it was previously recorded by Delaware. Miss Montana USA 2005 Amanda Kimmel was chosen to represent the United States in the 2005 Miss Earth pageant. Although she did not place at Miss USA, Kimmel finished in the Top 8 at Miss Earth and was later selected to participate in '' Survivor: China'', '' Survivor: Micronesia'' and '' Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains''. Miss America
Miss America is an annual competition that is open to women from the United States between the ages of 17 and 25. Originating in 1921 as a "bathing beauty revue", the contest is now judged on competitors' talent performances and interviews. As of 2018, there is no longer a swimsuit portion to the contest, or consideration of physical appearance. Miss America travels about 20,000 miles a month, changing her location every 24 to 48 hours, touring the nation and promoting her particular platform of interest. The winner is crowned by the previous year's titleholder. The current Miss America is Grace Stanke of Wisconsin, who was crowned Miss America 2023 on December 15, 2022. The Miss Montana Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Montana in the Miss Teen USA pageant. From 1994 to 2007, it was directed by Carol Hirata and the Carlton Group, based in Bellvue, Colorado. In 2013, it was taken by Pageants NW Productions based in Puyallup, Washington. Montana is the least successful state at Miss Teen USA, placing only once in 2006 by Katie Blair from Billings, who went on to win the title Miss Teen USA 2006. Julia Kunau of Lewistown was crowned Miss Montana Teen USA 2022 on September 12, 2021 at Red Lion Hotel Templin's on the River in Post Falls, Idaho. St. Ignatius ( Salish: snyél̓mn, Ktunaxa: ʔa·kikqǂaǂaǂuk̓pǂiʔit) is a town in Lake County, Montana, United States. The population was 768 at the 2020 census. The town is located on the Flathead Indian Reservation. History It was named for and is the site of the St. Ignatius Mission, established by Fr. Shelby is a city in and the county seat of Toole County, Montana, United States. The population was 3,169 at the 2020 census. History Shelby was named in honor of Peter O. Shelby, General Manager of the Montana Central Railway. A railroad station was established here about 1892, at the junction of the Great Northern Railway and the Great Falls & Canada Railway. Brittany Wiser (born August 2, 1987) is an American beauty pageant title holder from Bozeman, Montana. As of 2023, she is one of only two women to earn both the Miss Montana and Miss Montana USA titles. She is also the only titleholder to do so consecutively. Harlowton is a city in and the county seat of Wheatland County, Montana, United States. The population was 955 at the 2020 census. Description The city was once the eastern terminus of electric operations (1914–74) for the "Pacific Extension" of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad ("Milwaukee Road").
