Jill Hammond
Jill Maree Hammond (born 25 August 1950) is a retired Australian women's basketball player. Biography Hammond played for the Australia women's national basketball team, national team between 1970 and 1980, competing at three FIBA World Championship for Women, World Championship; 1971 FIBA World Championship for Women, 1971, 1975 FIBA World Championship for Women, 1975 and 1979 FIBA World Championship for Women, 1979. At 180cm (5'11") tall, Hammond played as a Point forward, Forward.Nagy, Boti (23 November 2013). Basketball On The InternetFlashback #22: July, August 1975 Retrieved 2013-12-17. Hammond was Captain (sports), captain of the 1975 and 1979 squads and was considered a standout player for Australia during the 1970s.
