Jihyo
Park Ji-hyo (; born Park Ji-soo on February 1, 1997), known mononymously as Jihyo, is a South Korean singer. She is the leader and vocalist of the South Korean girl group Twice, formed by JYP Entertainment in 2015. Life and career Early life Jihyo was born on February 1, 1997, in Guri, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea as Park Ji-soo. Pre-debut JYP Entertainment scouted Jihyo after she placed second in a contest on Junior Naver. She joined the company at the age of eight and trained for ten years, during which she became the face of Innisfree's teen line with boy band Boyfriend and trained with K-pop acts such as Wonder Girls' Sunmi and Hyerim, Bae Suzy, Jo Kwon, and Nichkhun. Jihyo was set to debut in a girl group with now-Twice members Nayeon, Jeongyeon and Sana, although the project was cancelled. ''Sixteen'' (stylized in all caps; ) was a 2015 reality girl group survival show created by JYP Entertainment and Mnet (TV channel), Mnet. The show pitted sixteen trainees against one another to secure a spot in the girl group Twice. ''Sixteen'' contestants were assessed not just by their singing and dancing abilities but also their charisma and personality. The show ran from May 5 to July 7 on Mnet for ten episodes. Twice (; Japanese: トゥワイス, Hepburn: ''To~uwaisu''; commonly stylized as TWICE) is a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment. The group is composed of nine members: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. The Story Begins
''The Story Begins'' is the debut extended play by South Korean girl group Twice. It was released by JYP Entertainment on October 20, 2015, through KT Music. It features six tracks, including the lead single, "Like Ooh-Ahh", which was composed by Black Eyed Pilseung and is a blend of several different genres. Jeongyeon
Yoo Jeong-yeon (; born 1 November 1996), known mononymously as Jeongyeon (), is a South Korean singer. She is a member of Twice, a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment. Early life Jeongyeon was born as Yoo Kyung-wan on 1 November 1996 in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. She has two older sisters, one of whom is the actress Gong Seung-yeon. Guri, Gyeonggi Province
Guri (, lit. Nine Villages Town(Town of Nine Villages) is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It is located immediately to the east of Seoul, in the heart of the Capital Metropolitan Area. The Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty are located in the city. The hill of Achasan is also located here, site of the Baekje-era Achasanseong and numerous hiking trails. It also has pleasant walking paths along Wang-suk-cheon, a small creek separating Guri from Namyangju. The traditional town market in Doldari (Guri's downtown around what used to be a "stone bridge") provides a cheap alternative to department stores. Guri first became a separate city in 1986. , known mononymously as Sana (; ja, サナ), is a Japanese singer based in South Korea. She is one of three Japanese members of the South Korean girl group Twice, formed in 2015 by JYP Entertainment. Early life Sana was born on December 29, 1996 in Tennōji-ku, Osaka, Japan, as an only child.
