Jet Stunt Extreme
''Jet Stunt Extreme'' was a live Personal Watercraft (PWC) Stunt Show at Sea World on the Gold Coast, Australia. Following the successful trial from 16 December 2010 until 23 January 2011, the show returned on 17 September 2011 for an extended season. It starred several of the world's best PWC stunt performers. The show held its final performance on 27 January 2019, being replaced by the Thunder Lake Stunt Show. History In early December 2010, Sea World announced that they would be running a new show called ''Jet Stunt Extreme'' throughout the summer holiday period. The show was held twice a day from 16 December 2010 until 23 January 2011. In an interview for the Gold Coast Bulletin, a Sea World spokeswoman stated that the show could be made permanent if the summer trial was a success. A personal watercraft (PWC), also called water scooter or jet ski, is a recreational watercraft that a rider sits or stands on, not within, as in a boat. PWCs have two style categories, first and most popular being a runabout or "sit down" where the rider uses the watercraft mainly sitting down, and the watercraft typically holds two or more people. The second style is a "stand-up", where the rider uses the watercraft standing up. The stand-up styles are built for one rider and are used more for doing tricks, racing, and use in competitions. Both styles have an inboard engine driving a pump-jet that has a screw-shaped impeller to create thrust for propulsion and steering. The ''Gold Coast Bulletin'' is a daily newspaper serving Australia's Gold Coast region. It is published as ''The Gold Coast Bulletin'' on weekdays and the ''Weekend Bulletin'' at weekends. Jet Pack
A jet pack, rocket belt, or rocket pack is a device worn on the back which uses jets of gas or liquid to propel the wearer through the air. The concept has been present in science fiction for almost a century and became widespread in the 1960s. Real jet packs have been developed using a variety of mechanisms, but their uses are much more limited than their fictional counterparts because of the challenges of the Earth's atmosphere, gravity, the low energy density of utilisable fuels, and the human body not being suited to flight, and they are principally used for stunts. The SuperJet is a stand-up type personal watercraft (PWC) made by Yamaha Motor Corporation. Part of Yamaha's WaveRunner line of watercraft, it was introduced in 1990 and has become one of the most successful stand-up personal watercraft ever made.
