Jessica Mair
Jessica Amundson (born May 14, 1984 as Jessica Mair) is a Canadians, Canadian curling, curler. She played second for the 2012 national champion Heather Nedohin rink. Before joining the Nedohin rink, Amundson was a top collegiate curler. In 2005, she won the Alberta collegiate championship. She also represented the University of Alberta at the 2010 CIS/CCA Curling Championships, where her rink lost to the University of Waterloo in a tie-breaker. In 2009, Amundson joined the Nedohin rink. The team won their first national championship in 2012, at the 2012 Scotties Tournament of Hearts. She has not curled competitively since 2014. Beaumont, Alberta
Beaumont ( ) is a city in Leduc County within the Edmonton Metropolitan Region of Alberta, Canada. It is located at the intersection of Highway 625 and Highway 814, adjacent to the City of Edmonton and northeast of the City of Leduc. The Nisku Industrial Park and the Edmonton International Airport are located to the west and to the southwest respectively. Originally a French farming community, Beaumont is now a city with 19,236 people. Its downtown core resembles a French village with unique architecture and red brick walkways. 2010 CIS/CCA Curling Championships
In 2010, the CIS Nationals were staged at the Saville Sports Centre in Edmonton, Alberta. The men's title was won by the surprise of the tournament, the Queen's Gaels skipped by Jon Beuk. In the final the Gaels defeated the UPEI Panthers, skipped by former Canadian junior champion and world junior silver medalist, Brett Gallant. In the women's final, the Regina Cougars took the title when skip Brooklyn Lemon drew the pin in an extra to defeat the St. Mary's Huskies. This was the second consecutive runner up finish for SMU skip Marie Christianson. With their wins Queen's and Regina will represent Canada at the 2011 FISU Winter Universiade in Erzurum, Turkey.
