Robot Combat
Robot combat is a mode of robot competition in which custom-built machines fight using various methods to incapacitate each other. The machines have generally been remote-controlled vehicles rather than autonomous robots. These shows were originally broadcast in the late 1990s to early 2000s and experienced revivals in the mid-2010s. As well as televised competitions, smaller robot combat events are staged for live audiences such as those organized by the Robot Fighting League. Robot builders are generally hobbyists and the complexity and cost of their machines can vary substantially. Survival Horror
Survival horror is a subgenre of survival of the players as the game tries to frighten them with either horror graphics or scary ambience. Although combat can be part of the gameplay, the player is made to feel less in control than in typical action games through limited ammunition or weapons, health, speed and vision, or through various obstructions of the player's interaction with the game mechanics. The player is also challenged to find items that unlock the path to new areas and solve puzzles to proceed in the game. Games make use of strong horror themes, like dark mazelike environments and unexpected attacks from enemies. The term "survival horror" was first used for the original Japanese release of ''Resident Evil'' in 1996, which was influenced by earlier games with a horror theme such as 1989's '' Sweet Home'' and 1992's '' Alone in the Dark''. The name has been used since then for games with similar gameplay, and has been retroactively applied to earlier titles. Startin ...

Upon its release March 6, 2012 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows, ''Mass Effect 3'' generated controversy. Its ending was poorly received by players who felt that it did not meet their expectations. The initial announcement of the development of add-on content to amend the ending as well as the subsequent release of ''Extended Cut'' sparked debates over the treatment of video games as art and whether BioWare should have to alter their vision of the work in response to external pressure, regardless of its quality. Both BioWare and EA have been criticized for questionable business practices over the release of '' Mass Effect 3: From Ashes'' ...
