Jerry Fisher
Jerry Donald Fisher (born March 1, 1942, DeKalb, Texas, United States) is an American R&B singer – Texas-born and Oklahoma-reared – known internationally for being the lead vocal with Blood, Sweat & Tears from 1971 to 1975. He is known to Dallas music fans for his R&B gigs from 1964 to 1972, and known in Bay Saint Louis as one-half of the husband–wife proprietorship of "Dock of the Bay," a restaurant and nightclub owned and operated by the two from 1976 to the spring of 2005, when they sold it a few months before Hurricane Katrina blew it away. ''Mirror Image'' is the seventh album by the band Blood, Sweat & Tears, released by Columbia Records in July 1974. Founding member Jim Fielder left the band prior to the recording of ''Mirror Image'', leaving drummer Bobby Colomby as the only remaining original member. Longtime horn player Lew Soloff also left the group. Jerry LaCroix, previously of Edgar Winter's band White Trash, joined on saxophone and occasional lead vocals. This album was produced by veteran Motown producer Henry Cosby, best known for his work on early Stevie Wonder songs. By mid-1973, Steve Katz, one of the founding members of BS&T, had left the band as the members leaned further towards jazz fusion. Biography Kenneth Keshavan Maslak was born in downtown Detroit, Michigan, United States, to a family of Ukrainian immigrants, who worked at the Ford Motor Company.
