Jerry Busher
Jerry Busher is an American drummer and multi-instrumentalist. He is known for his work with Fidelity Jones and Fugazi. Career Jerry Busher is a musician, audio engineer and artist from the Washington DC area. He played drums in Fidelity Jones from spring 1988 to spring 1990, touring the US and Canada. Fidelity Jones released Piltdown Lad E.P in 1989 and Venus On Lovely single in 1990 and are featured on the 20 Years Of Dischord and State Of The Union compilations. Busher played drums with the Washington, DC rock group Elevator in 1992, which also featured John Hammill (Pussy Galore, Velvet Monkeys) and Malcolm Riviera (Gumball, Velvet Monkeys). He formed Allscars in 1996 an "experimental" band that played improvised as well as structured music. Multi-instrumentalist
A multi-instrumentalist is a musician who plays two or more musical instruments at a professional level of proficiency. Also known as doubling, the practice allows greater ensemble flexibility and more efficient employment of musicians, where a particular instrument may be employed only briefly or sporadically during a performance. Doubling is not uncommon in orchestra (e.g., flutists who double on piccolo) and jazz (saxophone/flute players); double bass players might also perform on electric bass. In music theatre, a pit orchestra's reed players might be required to perform on multiple instruments. Church piano players are often expected to play the church's pipe organ or Hammond organ as well. Fugazi
Fugazi (; ) is an American post-hardcore band that formed in Washington, D.C., in 1986. The band consists of guitarists and vocalists Ian MacKaye and Guy Picciotto, bassist Joe Lally, and drummer Brendan Canty. They are noted for their style-transcending music, DIY ethical stance, manner of business practice, and contempt for the music industry. Fugazi has performed numerous worldwide tours and produced six studio albums, a film, and a comprehensive live series, gaining the band critical acclaim and success around the world. The Spinanes
The Spinanes were an American indie rock Musical ensemble#Rock and pop bands, band, primarily active during the 1990s. The band was founded by and consisted only of singer-songwriter/guitarist Rebecca Gates and drummer Scott Plouf. They released three albums on the Sub Pop label before Gates retired the name in 2001 and began releasing music as a solo artist; Plouf began playing with Built to Spill in 1996 and left The Spinanes shortly thereafter to become their permanent drummer. The duo formed in Portland, Oregon, in 1991, just as worldwide interest in the Indie music scene, music scene of the Pacific Northwest was beginning to crest. The Argument
''The Argument'' is the sixth and most recent studio album from the post-hardcore band Fugazi released on October 16, 2001, through Dischord Records. It was recorded at Don Zientara's Inner Ear Studios in Arlington, VA and the Dischord House between January and April 2001. It was the band's last release (simultaneously with ''Furniture'') before going on hiatus in 2003, until the release of ''First Demo'' over thirteen years later. Upon release, ''The Argument'' was met with critical and commercial success. Many critics have called it the band's best album as well as one of the most important releases in the post-hardcore genre. ''Furniture'' is the fourth and most recent Extended play, EP released by American post-hardcore band Fugazi (band), Fugazi. It was recorded in January and February 2001, the same time that the band was recording their last album, ''The Argument'', and released in October 2001 on 7" and on CD. The songs "Furniture" and "Hello Morning" date back to the late 1980s, "Furniture" having been performed at the band's first show in 1987. Portions of "Number 5" originated in "Turkish Disco", a song recorded as a demo in 1997 and released on the ''Instrument Soundtrack'' in 1999. John Frusciante
John Anthony Frusciante (; born March 5, 1970) is an American musician, best known as the guitarist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers across three stints since 1988. He has released 11 solo albums and 7 EPs, ranging in style from acoustic guitar to electronic music. Frusciante joined the Chili Peppers at the age of 18 after the death of guitarist Hillel Slovak, and first appeared on their album '' Mother's Milk'' (1989). The road crew (or roadies) are the technicians or support personnel who travel with a band on tour, usually in sleeper buses, and handle every part of the concert productions except actually performing the music with the musicians.
