Jeongja Station
Jeongja (formerly Baekgung station) is a station on the Bundang Line and the Shinbundang Line, an express subway in South Korea. It was the southern terminus of the Shinbundang Line, between October 2011 and January 2016, when the Shinbundang Line extended to Gwanggyo station. However, it still exists as a divide in terms of fare since riders need to pay an extra charge of 300 won (on top of the 900 won charge of using the Shinbundang Line) when crossing this station, due to the owners of Phase 1 and 2 being different. This rule only applies to the Shinbundang Line - Riders of the Bundang Line pay the normal minimum fare of 1,250 won. Bundang-gu
Bundang-gu is the largest and most populous district ('' gu'') of Seongnam, a major city in the Seoul Capital Area, South Korea. Bundang-gu is one of South Korea's wealthiest and highest developed areas, being the nation's first and largest completely artificial city built in the early 1990s. Many high-rise luxury condos moved in the early 2000s, with a second planned city built in the late 2000s called Pangyo in the same district. Bundang is a planned community in the Bundang-gu district of Seongnam, South Korea. It was developed to encourage affordable housing and urban decentralization. The community has a sports complex, a park and a youth center. Jeongja-dong
Jeongja-dong (정자동) is a neighbourhood in the Bundang-gu district of Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It is a very wealthy and relatively new neighbourhood, particularly on the western bank of the Tancheon. As recently as 2004, a view of this portion of Jeongja from the northern neighbouring Sunae-dong revealed primarily cranes and buildings under construction. By 2006, most of this construction was completed and several upscale businesses and affluent citizens had moved into the neighbourhood. Pangyo (Pangyo Techno Valley) Station is a station on the Shinbundang Line, serving the planned city of Pangyo in the city of Seongnam. Migeum Station
Migeum ( Seoul National University Bundang Hospital) Station is a subway station located in Geumgok-dong. It is between Jeongja Station and Ori Station on the Bundang Line. It became a transfer station to the Shinbundang Line in April 2018. There was a debate between Seongnam City and Suwon City regarding whether Migeum should be included in the Phase 2 extension of Shinbundang Line. Supporters argued that the distance between Jeongja Station and Dongcheon Station would be unusually long at 3.76 km. They also argued that the inclusion of Migeum will alleviate traffic in the area. Seongnam
Seongnam () is the fourth largest city in South Korea's Gyeonggi Province after Suwon and the 10th largest city in the country. Its population is approximately one million.
