''Dig Me Out'' is the third studio album by the American rock band Sleater-Kinney, released on April 8, 1997, by Kill Rock Stars. The album was produced by John Goodmanson and recorded from December 1996 to January 1997 at John and Stu's Place in Seattle, Washington. ''Dig Me Out'' marked the debut of Janet Weiss, who would become the band's longest-serving drummer. The music on the record was influenced by traditional rock and roll bands, while the lyrics deal with issues of heartbreak and survival. SS ''Gallic'' was a cargo steamship built in 1918. During her career, she had six different owners and sailed under the flags of the United Kingdom, Panama and Indonesia. ''Jenny'' was built at Newfoundland in 1783. She sailed to Britain and traded between Britain and Newfoundland and then between Bristol and Africa until 1790 when Sydenham Teast (or Sidenham Teast) purchased her. Between 1791 and 1794 she made two voyages exploring the Pacific Northwest and gathering sea otter pelts. In 1796 she returned to trading with Africa but was lost in January 1797 as she was returning to Bristol from Africa. Career ''Jenny'' entered ''Lloyd's Register'' (''LR'') in 1784 with J. Parsons, master, Clements, owner, and trade Bristol–Newfoundland. Trading with Africa Records exist for three voyages to Africa for ''Jenny'', none of which involved slave trading. The ''Jenny'' was an alleged English schooner and the subject of an unproven legend. The story goes that the ''Jenny'' became frozen in an ice-barrier of the Drake Passage in 1823, only to be rediscovered in 1840 by a whaling ship, the bodies aboard being preserved by the Antarctic cold. The original report has been deemed "unsubstantiated". The earliest known source for the story appears to be an article in the Wiener Zeitung published on 19 February 1841. In the following weeks, the same text was printed in at least seven other newspapers. On the occasion of the McClintock Arctic expedition, the story of the schooner Jenny was remembered again, e. g. within an anonymous article in an 1862 edition of Globus, a popular German geographical magazine. Jenny Estate (german: Jenny Schloss) is a large estate in the municipality of Thalwil of the Canton of Zurich in Switzerland. It is a Swiss heritage site of national significance. History The building, now known as Jenny Estate, was built in 1878 as a home and silk fabric factory for Fritz Schwarzenbach-Suter. It was designed by architect Jakob Staub (1837-1892) and Johann Rudolf Hofmann-Schmid. Merchant Conrad Jenny Blumer (1848-1928), married to Albertina Jenny, bought the building from Schwarzenbach's heirs in 1893.
