Jennie Johansson
Jennie Caroline Eleonore Johansson (born 15 June 1988) is a Swedish former Olympic swimmer and former European record holder in 4 × 100 metre medley relay, who competed at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. Johansson has represented Upsala SS and SK Neptun. Career Johansson competed for Sweden at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She won gold in the 50 metre breaststroke at the 2015 World Aquatics Championships in Kazan, Russia. Jennie Johansson competed in 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, where she participated in the 100 m breaststroke and 4 × 100 m medley relay events, but she did not reach the finals. In November 2016, it was revealed that Jennie Johansson and fellow Swedish swimmer Michelle Coleman had been barred from participating in international events representing Sweden, due to disciplinary reasons. Breaststroke
Breaststroke is a swimming style in which the swimmer is on their chest and the torso does not rotate. It is the most popular recreational style due to the swimmer's head being out of the water a large portion of the time, and that it can be swum comfortably at slow speeds. Michelle Coleman
Michelle Coleman (born 31 October 1993) is a Swedish competitive swimmer specialized in the sprint freestyle and backstroke events. She is the current Swedish national record holder in the 100 meter backstroke (short course), and the 200 meter backstroke (long course and short course). She finished 7th in the 200 meter freestyle at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio and led off the Swedish silver medal winning 4 × 100 m medley relay team at the 2015 World Championships in Kazan. 2009 European Short Course Swimming Championships
The 2009 European Short Course Swimming Championships was held in Istanbul, Turkey, from Thursday 10 to Sunday 13 December 2009. A temporary swimming pool was built within the Abdi İpekçi Arena. The event was held over four days with: heats, semifinals and a final for the 50 m and 100 m events and heats and a final for all other events with the exception of the women's 800 m and men's 1500 m freestyle which were heat declared winners. Heats were held in the morning, with semifinals, finals and the fastest heat of the distance freestyle events in the evening.
