Jelena (TV Series)
''Jelena'' (Serbian Cyrillic: ''Јелена'') is the first Serbian telenovela ever shot. Series is shot for BK TV by PowerHouse Entertainment owned by Saša D. Karić. Plot Belgrade in the 70's. Jelena, the daughter of a high ranked politician and Vuk, a poor young man decided to run away for her 18th birthday, but someone set them up. Jelena has been drugged and locked in her room and her father had been killed. The blame fell on Vuk and he ran from Yugoslavia. Thirteen years later he returns to Belgrade to clear his name. A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. Danica Maksimović, Aljoša Vučković, Irfan Mensur, Ružica Sokić, Ivan Bekjarev, Bojana Ordinačev Bojana Laura Ordinačev (born August 14, 1980, in Novi Sad, Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Serbian model and actress who made her debut in 2003 television series '' M(j)ešoviti brak''. Andrej Aćin
Andrej Aćin is a Serbian director, screenwriter and composer from Belgrade. In the 1990s, he fronted the gothic rock band BAAL. From 1992 until 1995, he worked as the music editor at the Belgrade Art television station, and, in 1997, he was enrolled at the Belgrade Art Academy on the department for film and television directing. He directed the theatre piece ''Pasija po telu'' (''Passion on the Body''), a semi-documentary ''Moj svet pun svetlosti'' (''My World Full of Light'') and the short movie ''Margina'' (''Margin''). In 2005, he appeared in the movie ''Bye Bye Blackbird'', directed by Robinson Savary. Serbian (, ) is the standardized variety of the Serbo-Croatian language mainly used by Serbs.
