Jeffrey McClain
Jeff McClain (born February 2, 1958) is a former Republican member of the Ohio House of Representatives who represented the 87th District from 2009 to 2016. Career McClain was the Wyandot County auditor for over 26 years. Ohio House of Representatives When Representative Steve Reinhard was unable to run for another term due to term limits, McClain, along with Lois Fisher, sought the Republican nomination. McClain won the primary election with 60.72% of the votes. He won the general election with 53.63% of the vote. On January 5, 2009, he was sworn into his first term. McClain was elected to a second term in 2010 unopposed. In 2014, McClain was elected to serve his fourth consecutive term with 73% of the vote. Steve Reinhard
Steve Reinhard is an American farmer, teacher, and politician. Born in Bucyrus, Ohio, Reinhard graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in agriculture education and economics. Reinhard was teacher and farmer. From 2001 to 2008, Reinhard served in the Ohio House of Representatives and is a Republican. Reinhard taught agriculture at Crestview High School and coached basketball. In 2012, Reinhard served as Crawford County commissioner. He also served on the Ohio Exposition Commission and is the chairman of the commission. In 2016, Reinhard sought election to the Ohio House of Representatives, but was defeated in the primary by Wes Goodman. With Senator Karen Gillmor resigning from her seat, in 2011, Reinhard was named as a possible successor. Wesley Goodman (born February 14, 1984) is an American Republican politician who served as the Ohio State Representative for the 87th District from 2016 until his resignation in 2017. His former district consists of Crawford, Morrow and Wyandot counties, as well as portions of Marion and Seneca counties. Upper Sandusky is a city and the county seat of Wyandot County, Ohio, Wyandot County, Ohio, United States, along the upper Sandusky River, which flows north to Sandusky Bay and Lake Erie. Ohio House Of Representatives
The Ohio House of Representatives is the lower house of the Ohio General Assembly, the state legislature of the U.S. state of Ohio; the other house of the bicameral legislature being the Ohio Senate. The House of Representatives first met in Chillicothe on March 3, 1803, under the later superseded state constitution of that year. In 1816, the capital was moved to Columbus, where it is located today. Members are limited to four successive two-year elected terms (terms are considered successive if they are separated by less than four years). Karen Gillmor
Karen Gillmor (born January 29, 1948) is a Republican Party (United States), Republican politician who served in the Ohio Senate, and who now serves on the Ohio Industrial Commission. She is the widow of former U.S. Congressman Paul Gillmor. Life and career Gillmor graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Michigan State University, and a Master of Arts and a Ph.D. from The Ohio State University. She served on the State Employment Relations Board from 1997 to 2007. She first was elected to the Ohio Senate in 1992 to succeed Paul Pfeifer, who had won election to the Ohio Supreme Court. In 1996, she was reelected, however, she resigned from her second term in 1997 to take a seat in the State Employees Relations Board. The newspaper was first published on December 19, 1835. Overview The first issue of what was then the ''Toledo Blade'' was printed on December 19, 1835. It has been published daily since 1848 and is the oldest continuously run business in Toledo. David Ross Locke gained national fame for the paper during the Civil War era by writing under the pen name Petroleum V. Nasby. David E. Burke (born July 26, 1967) served as State Senator for the 26th District of the Ohio Senate. He formerly served in the Ohio House of Representatives. He is the Chairman of the Senate Finance Medicaid subcommittee. Life and career Burke received his bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Ohio Northern University and his master's degree in Business Administration from Capital University. Burke owned Dave's Pharmacy in Marysville, Ohio from 1997 through 2020, and served on Marysville City Council from 2004 to 2008.
