Jeffery Broadwater
Jeffery D. Broadwater (born 1967) is a United States Army Major general (United States), major general who serves as deputy commanding general of V Corps (United States), V Corps. He previously served as commanding general of the 1st Cavalry Division (United States), 1st Cavalry Division from October 3, 2019 to July 21, 2021. Prior to that, he served as commanding general of the Fort Irwin National Training Center from November 2016 to September 2019. Broadwater was among 14 Fort Hood military leaders fired or suspended from duty by then-United States Secretary of the Army, Secretary of the Army Ryan D. McCarthy for creating a "permissive environment" that let crimes up to sexual harassment and assault occur with little punitive action, per an investigation into the Killing of Vanessa Guillén, death of Vanessa Guillén. Fort Benning is a United States Army post near Columbus, Georgia, adjacent to the Alabama–Georgia border. Army Ranger School
The Swedish Army Ranger School ( sv, Arméns jägarskola, JS) was a Swedish Army ranger unit which was active in various forms between 1910 and 1975. The unit was based in Kiruna, Lapland. History The Army Ranger School has its origins in the Ski Battalion which in 1910 was established in Boden as Norrbotten Regiment's 4th battalion. 372 conscripts from Sweden's then 25 enrollment areas enrolled in Boden for training in winter conditions. The Ski Battalion remained until 1943, when the Norrbotten Regiment's Ranger Battalion in Kiruna (''Norrbottens regementes jägarbataljon i Kiruna'', I 19 K) was raised. 1st Armored Division (United States)
The 1st Armored Division, nicknamed "Old Ironsides," is a combined arms division of the United States Army. The division is part of III Armored Corps and operates out of Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas. It was the first armored division of the United States' Army to see battle in World War II. Since World War II, the division has been involved in the Korean War, Cuban Missile Crisis, Persian Gulf War, Iraq, Afghanistan, and several other operations.
