Francis Jeffers
Francis Jeffers (born 25 January 1981) is an English football coach and former player, who is a first-team coach at Oldham Athletic. Jeffers started his career at his boyhood club Everton, making his debut in 1997 as a 16 year old. After scoring 20 goals in 60 appearances for Everton, he signed for Arsenal in 2001. During his time at Arsenal, he won the FA Cup twice in 2002 and 2003. In 2004, Jeffers joined Charlton Athletic, where he spent two seasons, including spending time on loan at Scottish club Rangers. He moved to Blackburn Rovers in 2006, spending one season at the Lancashire club, whilst also spending time out on loan at Ipswich Town in 2007. He joined Sheffield Wednesday in 2007. Robinson Jeffers
John Robinson Jeffers (January 10, 1887 – January 20, 1962) was an American poet, known for his work about the central California coast. Much of Jeffers's poetry was written in narrative and epic form. However, he is also known for his shorter verse and is considered an icon of the environmental movement. Influential and highly regarded in some circles, despite or because of his philosophy of "inhumanism", Jeffers believed that transcending conflict required human concerns to be de-emphasized in favor of the boundless whole. This led him to oppose U.S. participation in World War II, a stance that was controversial after the U.S. entered the war. Othyus Jeffers (born August 5, 1985) is an American former professional basketball player who had served as associate head coach for the Robert Morris University Illinois. Jeffers played college basketball with the University of Illinois at Chicago for two years, before transferring to Robert Morris University for his senior season. He then started his professional career with the Iowa Energy of the NBA D-League, a minor league basketball organization owned and run by the NBA. Shaun Elliot Jeffers (born 14 April 1992) is an English professional footballer who currently plays as a forward for National League South club St Albans City. Club career Coventry City Jeffers made his professional debut, for Coventry City, on 12 August 2009, in a 1–0 Football League Cup defeat to Hartlepool United. Ryan Michael Jeffers (born June 3, 1997) is an American professional baseball catcher for the Minnesota Twins of Major League Baseball (MLB). Amateur career Jeffers attended Sanderson High School in Raleigh, North Carolina. In 2016, his senior year, he hit .398 with two home runs. Undrafted in the 2016 Major League Baseball draft, he enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where he walked-on their baseball team. In 2017, Jeffers' freshman year at UNCW, he appeared in only 13 games, but hit .348 with one home run and five RBIs. That summer, he played in the Coastal Plain League for the Wilmington Sharks. John Jeffers
John Joseph Jeffers (5 October 1968 – 20 January 2021) was an English footballer who played as a left-winger. He scored 18 goals in 297 league and cup appearances in a 12-year career in the Football League. He began his career with Liverpool in October 1986, but never made a first team appearance before he was sold on to Port Vale in February 1989 for a £30,000 fee. He helped the "Valiants" to win promotion out of the third tier in 1989 and 1993–94. Known for his dribbling and jinking runs, he was nicknamed "Jinking John Jeffers" by Vale supporters. Anne Burton Jeffers
Anne Burton Jeffers (August 25, 1851 - February 9, 1946) was an American librarian known for being the first female state official in Maryland. She served as State Librarian of Maryland from 1896 through 1908. Early life Jeffers was born in 1851, the daughter of Commodore William Nicholson Jeffers and Lucy LeGrand Smith. She married Belgian musician and composer Alexandre-Gustave d'Aussoigne-Méhul and they had one child, William Nicholson. When the couple divorced she and her son changed their surname back to Jeffers in 1886. Jeffers lived in Annapolis where she owned rental property, but also owned a cottage in Newport, Rhode Island.
