Jeff Maund
Jeffrey Maund (born April 8, 1976) is a Canadian former ice hockey goaltender who was an All-American for Ohio State. Career Maund was a fairly unheralded goaltender when he arrived in Columbus but he provided an instant spark for the Ohio State hockey team. As a freshman, he put up stellar numbers, finishing as one of the top goalies in the nation while he helped the Buckeyes post their first winning season in 11 years. The team played in the conference championship game for the first time since 1972 and Maund was named as the best goaltender in the tournament. Ohio State also received its first ever NCAA Tournament bid and stunned top-seeded Michigan State in the quarterfinals to reach the Frozen Four (it would be another 20 years before the Buckeyes repeated that performance). Mississauga
Mississauga ( ), historically known as Toronto Township, is a city in the Canadian province of Ontario. Kelly Cup
The Patrick J. Kelly Cup goes to the playoff champion of the ECHL. The Kelly Cup has been awarded to teams since 1997. Prior to 1997, the playoff winner was awarded the Riley Cup, named after former American Hockey League president Jack Riley. The current cup is named after Patrick J. Kelly, the league's first commissioner. The cup is loaned to the winning team for one year and is returned at the start of the following year's playoffs, although the trophy itself has been replaced three times with the first two iterations preserved in the Hockey Hall of Fame. The Kelly Cup Playoffs Most Valuable Player award is also given out as part of the Kelly Cup Championship ceremonies. Andrew Raycroft
Andrew Joseph Ernest Raycroft (born May 4, 1980) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. Originally drafted by the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL) 135th overall in 1998, he won the Calder Memorial Trophy with the club in 2004 as rookie of the year. Raycroft has also played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Colorado Avalanche, Vancouver Canucks, Dallas Stars, Hockey Milano Rossoblu and IF Björklöven. Since 2014, he has been a volunteer assistant coach for the University of Connecticut's men's hockey team. Rob Tallas
Robert Wayne "Robbie" Tallas (born March 20, 1973) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. He played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Boston Bruins and Chicago Blackhawks between 1996 and 2001. Playing career Tallas played in 99 NHL games and compiled a record of 28 wins, 42 losses, and 10 ties. He has been serving as the goaltending coach for the Florida Panthers since August 2009. He came out of retirement for one game on March 3, 2013, as a backup goalie for the Florida Panthers. Then, exactly two years later, on March 3, 2015, during a game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, both Panthers goaltenders (Roberto Luongo and Al Montoya) were injured during play. Jocelyn Thibault
Joseph Régis Jocelyn Thibault (born January 12, 1975) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender who played 14 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Quebec Nordiques, Colorado Avalanche, Montreal Canadiens, Chicago Blackhawks, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Buffalo Sabres. Thibault was born in Montreal, Quebec and grew up in nearby Laval. He led a group out of Sherbrooke, Quebec to create an expansion team in the QMJHL. The new team, Sherbrooke Phoenix, started playing in the 2012–13 season. In 2021, Thibault left the Phoenix to became the new executive director of Hockey Quebec. The American Hockey League (AHL) is a professional ice hockey league based in the United States and Canada that serves as the primary Minor league#Ice hockey, developmental league for the National Hockey League (NHL).
