Education Jean Muller was born in Luxembourg City, the son of Gary Muller, a piano teacher. He was only six when he had his first piano lessons at the Conservatoire de Luxembourg. Frédéric Chaslin
Frédéric Chaslin (; born 1963, in Paris) is a French conductor, composer and pianist. He recently joined the prestigious Music publishing house Universal Edition in Vienna. The son of an architect, Chaslin studied at the Conservatoire de Paris, where he won first prizes in harmony, counterpoint, fugue, piano accompaniment, vocal direction, and orchestration. He later studied at the Mozarteum University of Salzburg, where his mentors included Paul von Schilawsky. In 1989, Chaslin became an assistant conductor to Daniel Barenboim at the Orchestre de Paris and at the Bayreuth Festival. In 1991, he held a similar post with Pierre Boulez at the Ensemble Intercontemporain from 1989 to 1991. Boulez gave him his first concerts at an international level in Roma (July 1991) and at the Festival Wien Modern (19 October 1991). Chaslin was music director of the Opera de Rouen from 1991 to 1994. Frédéric Chopin's ''Berceuse'', Op. 57, is a lullaby to be played on the piano. He composed it in 1843/44 as variations in D-flat major. Chopin originally called his work ''Variantes''. ''Berceuse'' was first published in Paris in 1844 by Jean-Racine Meissonnier, dedicated to Élise Gavard, and appeared in London and Leipzig the following year. Written late in his career, the lyrical piece features complex pianistic figuration in the continuous flow of variations on a calm bass in always soft dynamics, shaping the music by texture and sonority. Stéphane Blet (9 March 1969 – 7 January 2022) was a French classical pianist and composer. Life and career Born in Paris, France, Blet was a disciple of the great American pianist Byron Janis who discovered an exceptional talent in him and invited him to New York. He was also a young assistant of Vladimir Horowitz. In 1986, he began an international concert career.
