Jean-Pierre Ploué
Jean-Pierre Ploué is a French car designer, born in 1962, known for bringing the Citroën marque back to strength and restoring its reputation for innovation and strong individualistic styling. Biography Ploué graduated from the École nationale supérieure des arts appliqués et des métiers d'art in 1985. He started his career at Renault from 1985–1995, where he designed the Laguna concept car, the W06 concept that grew into the Twingo, and worked on the design of the Renault Clio II and Megane I. From 1995 to 1998 he worked at the Volkswagen Design Centre in Wolfsburg, Germany. From 1998 to 1999 Ploué was Head of Exterior Design at Ford in Cologne, Germany. In 1999 Jean-Pierre Ploué replaced Arthur Blakeslee as Head of the Citroën Design Centre, responsible for rejuvenating the brand's image. Citroën () is a French automobile brand. The "Automobiles Citroën" manufacturing company was founded in March 1919 by André Citroën. Gilles Vidal (born ca. 1972) is a French car designer, appointed Director of Style by Peugeot at the start of 2010. He was responsible for the design direction of the 2010's at Peugeot. He is currently the design director at Renault, having joined the brand since 2020. Biographical note Vidal received his diploma from the Art Center College of Design in Vevey (Switzerland) and joined Citroën in 1996. The Citroën C-Métisse is a concept car which was produced by the car manufacturer Citroën. It was first introduced in the autumn of 2006 at the Paris Motor Show. It has been stated that the reason for creating such a car was to show that any hybrid car can have the same performance as any petrol or diesel-powered car. The car is designed as a five-door 2+2 shooting brake. The first official pictures were revealed in September 2006. The Citroën C6 is an executive car produced by the French car maker Citroën since 2005. The Citroën C6 was inspired by the Citroën C6 Lignage concept car with a fastback saloon like styling.
