Jean-Philippe (film)
''Jean-Philippe'' is a 2006 French film co-written and directed by Laurent Tuel and starring Fabrice Luchini, alongside Johnny Hallyday as a fictional version of himself. Premise After an accident, Fabrice, a fan of Johnny Hallyday, falls into a coma and wakes up in a parallel world in which Johnny (using his birth name Jean-Philippe Smet), had abandoned his singing career and never became a star. He convinces Jean-Philippe to become the rock star he should have been. Jacky Nercessian (or ''Nersessian'' ( hy, Ժաքի Ներսեսյան), born November 16, 1950) is a French actor who is ethnically Armenian. One of his most known roles is Apkar in '' Mayrig'' by Henri Verneuil. Biography Nercessian was born in 1950 in Saint-Etienne. He graduated from the Department of Theology to become a Pastor in England. He has played both in cinema and TV – including the role of Mustafa Ismael Faruki in ''Long Journey'' (Golden Lion for the Best Feature Film, Venice IFF, 2004). Benoît Poelvoorde (, ; born 22 September 1964) is a Belgian actor and comedian. Early life His mother was a grocer and his father a driver, who died when Poelvoorde was still a minor.
