Jean-Claude Bagot
Jean-Claude Bagot (born 9 March 1958) is a French former professional cyclist. He raced professionally between the years of 1983 and 1994. He is most known for winning one stage in the 1987 Giro d'Italia and winning the general classification in the 1984 Tour Méditerranéen. He also competed in a total of 17 Grand Tour (cycling), Grand Tours, including nine editions of the Tour de France, three of the Giro d'Italia and five of the Vuelta a España. His best finish was ninth overall in the 1989 Vuelta a España. His son, Yoann Bagot, Yoann, also competed as a professional cyclist, but retired in 2019. Saint-Hilaire-du-Harcouët () is a commune in the Manche department in Normandy in north-western France. On 1 January 2016, the former communes of Saint-Martin-de-Landelles and Virey were merged into Saint-Hilaire-du-Harcouët. It is approximately 50 miles (80 km) east of St. Malo and a similar distance northeast of Rennes. Setmana Catalana De Ciclisme
The Catalan Cycling Week (''Setmana Catalana de Ciclisme'' in Catalan) was a multi-stage road bicycle race held in Catalonia, Spain. Held annually from 1963 until 2005, it was run as a 2.HC race on the UCI Europe Tour in the second half of March. The Setmana Catalana was discontinued in 2006 due to financial problems and is no longer on the UCI Calendar. Since 2010, the Volta a Catalunya, Catalonia's oldest existing cycling race, was moved to the calendar slot formerly held by the Setmana Catalana in late March. The first winner of the race was José Pérez-Francés in 1963. The Bretagne Classic, also called Bretagne Classic Ouest–France, is an elite cycling classic held annually in late summer around the Breton village of Plouay in western France. The race was originally named Grand–Prix de Plouay and, from 1989 to 2015, GP Ouest–France. It was included in the inaugural UCI ProTour in 2005 and in 2011 in its successor, the UCI World Tour. The 1987 Volta a Catalunya was the 67th edition of the Volta a Catalunya cycle race and was held from 9 September to 17 September 1987 with a total of 8 stages. The race started in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia and finished in Platja d'Aro. The race was won by Galician Álvaro Pino from the BH team. Ángel Arroyo from Reynolds-Seur team and Iñaki Gastón from Kas team were second and third in the race.
