Jason Smith (born April 30, 1986) is a former American football offensive tackle. He was drafted by the St. Louis Rams with the second overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. He played college football at Baylor University. As a professional, he was a member of the Rams, the New York Jets and the New Orleans Saints. High school career Smith attended W. T. White High School, in Dallas, Texas. He was a First-team All-District honors as a sophomore and junior as an offensive tackle. As a senior, he was moved to tight end, catching seven passes for 101 yards and one touchdown. He was rewarded with All-District honors as a senior. Jason Martin-Smith (December 1972 – 22 August 2001) was an English man murdered in Hastings, East Sussex. He was considered a missing person as the case went unsolved for 14 years, until Mark Searle was found guilty of murder at Lewes Crown Court in August 2015. Steve McNicol was also convicted of conspiracy to kidnap, while a third suspect, Frank Torpey, died before proceedings began. The murder of Martin-Smith is heavily linked to the unsolved case of Jimmy Millen, who died in a drive-by shooting in Hastings two months later. Jason McLaren Smith (born ) is a New Zealand politician and environmentalist who served as the mayor of Kaipara from February 2018 to 2022. Prior to entering politics he was a farmer and businessman.
