Jason Pierce (drummer)
Jason Pierce is a Canadian drummer, currently the drummer of the Canadian band Our Lady Peace since 2016. Career During the 2000s, Pierce was a member of the Canadian band The Weekend. In 2012, Pierce performed drums on the Evans Blue album ''Graveyard of Empires''. He was also the drummer for Treble Charger for a time. In 2014, while in search of a replacement drummer, Our Lady Peace enlisted Pierce to perform during live shows. In 2016, he officially joined the band as their full-time drummer. He has also toured with Carly Rae Jepsen, Justin Bieber, Paramore, Dallas Green, and Chantal Kreviazuk Chantal Jennifer Kreviazuk (; born May 18, 1974) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, composer, and pianist. London, Ontario
London (pronounced ) is a city in southwestern Ontario, Canada, along the Quebec City–Windsor Corridor. The city had a population of 422,324 according to the 2021 Canadian census. London is at the confluence of the Thames River, approximately from both Toronto and Detroit; and about from Buffalo, New York. The Weekend (Canadian Band)
The Weekend was a pop rock band from London, Ontario, Canada. The Weekend has lent its music to feature film soundtracks (''Freaky Friday'', ''Uptown Girls'', '' D.E.B.S.'') and television shows such as ''The Simple Life 2'' and ''Mary-Kate and Ashley's So Little Time''. The band name led fellow Canadian musician The Weeknd to spell his name without the last “e”, to avoid copyright issues. History Co-founders Andrea Wasse (vocals, chief songwriter) and Link C.(synthesizer, programming) were in high school when they formed the band with Lorien Jones (bass) and Mike Clive (drums). Dallas Michael John Albert Green (born September 29, 1980) is a Canadian musician, singer, songwriter and record producer who records under the name City and Colour. He is also known for his contributions as a singer, rhythm guitarist and songwriter for the post-hardcore band Alexisonfire. In 2005, he debuted his first full-length album, ''Sometimes'', which achieved platinum certification in 2006. City and Colour began performing in small intimate venues between Alexisonfire tours. The name ''City and Colour'' comes from his own name: ''Dallas, Texas, Dallas'', a city, and ''Green'', a colour. Evans Blue is a Canadian Rock music, rock band from Toronto, founded in 2005. They have sold over one million albums worldwide, including five studio albums and one live album. History Origins (2005) Evans Blue came together in early 2005. Five musicians, then in three separate bands, met through a local musician's message board. Lead singer Kevin Matisyn suggested the name, which refers to the dye that is injected into the bloodstream to measure blood volume. The band then caught the attention of producer Trevor Kustiak (Cool for August) and his partner Mari Dew, of The Pocket Studios.
