Jason Perry (singer)
Jason Perry (born 29 December 1969) is an English record producer and singer/songwriter. He is the lead vocalist of the Suffolk based band alternative rock 'A'. He has an identical twin brother, Adam, and a younger brother, Giles, both of whom are also members of the band. Recently, Perry has produced albums by Greywind, Fatherson, Don Broco, Molotov, McBusted, Matthew P, Ivyrise, the Blackout, Kids in Glass Houses, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, Futures, Matt Willis and McFly. Musical career A was formed in the late 1980s, as Grand Designs, and changed its name to A in 1993. The band cited their influences as: Rush, the Beach Boys, Van Halen and the Beastie Boys. At the time, Perry had a job creating music for TV ads. He bought a studio, which he also used to produce some demos for the band. A landed a deal with London Records in 1996, and released records under their own Tycoon Records subsidiary. Get Cape
Sam Duckworth (born 1986) is an English musician who performs as Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly. He is also sometimes referred to as ''Get Cape'', ''Cape'', ''GCWCF'' and ''Slam Dunkworth'' (the latter title apparently first coined by Emmy the Great). According to Duckworth, his original stage name came from ''Retro Gamer'' magazine, from an article about superhero games such as ''Batman (1986 video game), Batman'' containing the heading "Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly", although a ''Calvin & Hobbes'' cartoon by Bill Watterson has also been cited. In addition to the Get Cape name, and his given name, Duckworth has released music under the moniker Recreations. Music career Duckworth grew up in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. Jesus Jones
Jesus Jones are a British alternative rock band from Bradford-on-Avon in Wiltshire, formed in late 1988, who continue to record and perform, as of 2021. Their track " Right Here, Right Now" was an international hit, and was subsequently globally licensed for promotional and advertising campaigns. The single was also nominated for a Grammy award at the 34th Annual Grammy Awards in 1991, as was its album, '' Doubt''. The Offspring
The Offspring is an American rock band from Garden Grove, California, formed in 1984. Originally formed under the name Manic Subsidal, the band's current lineup consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Bryan "Dexter" Holland, lead guitarist Kevin "Noodles" Wasserman and bassist Todd Morse. Over the course of their -year career, The Offspring have released 10 studio albums and have also experienced a number of lineup changes, most notably with their drummer. Thom Wilson
Thom Wilson (died February 8, 2015) was an American punk rock record producer and engineer. Career Wilson began his musical career in the mid-1970s, engineering recordings by soft rock artists Burton Cummings and Seals & Crofts. He began working on punk rock albums in the early 1980s while producing the Adolescents' self-titled debut album (also known as ''The Blue Album''). Throughout his career, he would also produce and engineer albums for numerous artists, such as Dead Kennedys, T.S.O.L., D.O.A., Bad Religion, The Joykiller, Social Distortion, The Vandals, The Offspring, Christian Death, Automatic 7, Face to Face and The Bouncing Souls. Wilson produced The Offspring's first three albums ''The Offspring'' (1989), ''Ignition'' (1992) and their breakthrough '' Smash'' (1994). He also produced the band's 1991 7" EP ''Baghdad''. London Recordings (or London Records and London Music Stream) is a British record label that marketed records in the United States, Canada, and Latin America for Decca Records from 1947 to 1980 before becoming semi-independent. Beastie Boys
Beastie Boys were an American rap rock group from New York City, formed in 1978. The group was composed of Michael "Mike D" Diamond (vocals, drums), Adam "MCA" Yauch (vocals, bass), and Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz (vocals, guitar, programming). Beastie Boys were formed out of members of experimental hardcore punk band the Young Aborigines in 1978, with Diamond as vocalist, Jeremy Shatan on bass guitar, John Berry on guitar, and Kate Schellenbach on drums.
