Jason Naidovski
Jason Naidovski (born 19 July 1989) is an Australian footballer. Biography Jason previously played for the Australian Institute of Sport in the Victorian Premier League. He scored a hat-trick against the Fawkner Blues in his final game for the AIS. Naidovski made his mark on the A-League scene scoring a late winner against Wellington Phoenix in Round 1 of the 2009–10 A-League season. Fellow Jets' striker Sean Rooney crossed the ball into Naidovski who neatly headed the ball into the bottom corner of the net. In September 2014 Jason announced his retirement at 25. Reason of his early retirement was because of on-going knee issues. He requires a fourth knee reconstruction in 5 years. The National Premier Leagues Victoria, commonly known as NPL Victoria, is a semi-professional soccer league in Victoria, Australia. AFF U19 Youth Championship
The AFF U-19 Youth Championship is an annual international football competition contested by the national teams of the members of the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) and occasionally invited nations from the rest of Asia. The tournament was previously played at under-20 level (except in 2003 it was held a special under-18 competition), however the AFF followed the lead of the Asian Football Confederation after they renamed its U-20 competition to fall in line with FIFA's naming conventions and also to reflect the age of the players at the competition. Sean Rooney (soccer)
Sean Rooney (born 1 March 1989) is an Australian footballer who plays for Blacktown City. Club career Rooney started his A-League career playing in the Youth League with Sydney FC. He was the league's top goal scorer before he was signed by Newcastle United Jets on a short-term injury replacement for Jason Naidovski. He made his A-League debut in Round 15 of the 2008–09 season against Queensland Roar. 2009–10 A-League
The 2009–10 A-League was the 33rd season of top-flight soccer in Australia, and the fifth season of the A-League competition since its establishment in 2004. The season marked the addition of two new teams from Queensland. Gold Coast United FC and the North Queensland Fury FC made their A-League debuts at the start of the season. Because of this, Queensland Roar were renamed to Brisbane Roar, as they were no longer the only A-League club from Queensland. Wellington Phoenix Football Club is a professional association football club based in Wellington, New Zealand. It competes in the Australian A-League, under licence from Football Federation Australia. A-League Men (known as the Isuzu UTE A-League for sponsorship reasons) is the highest-level professional men's soccer league in Australia and New Zealand. At the top of the Australian league system, it is the country's premier men's competition for the sport.
