Jason Gobel
Jason Göbel is an American musician. He is best known for being a member of the technical metal band Cynic and playing guitar on their album ''Focus''. Life and career Gobel joined Cynic in 1988, playing guitar on their demos and album ''Focus'' He has also played with Portal, a lighter side project of the band Cynic, Gordian Knot, a band formed by Sean Malone, also a former Cynic member. Prior to this he played on Monstrosity's album '' Imperial Doom'' alongside future Cannibal Corpse vocalist George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher and future Malevolent Creation guitarist and bassist Jon Rubin and Mark Van Erp. George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher
George Fisher (born July 8, 1970), better known by his stage name Corpsegrinder, is an American death metal vocalist who is the lead singer of Cannibal Corpse, Paths of Possession and the supergroup Serpentine Dominion. He recorded two albums with Florida's Monstrosity before leaving and joining Cannibal Corpse in late 1995, replacing vocalist Chris Barnes, who is now the vocalist for Six Feet Under. Fisher released his debut solo album ''Corpsegrinder'' on February 25, 2022. Jon Rubin is a contemporary artist based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and a professor at Carnegie Mellon University. Projects Fruit and Other Things ''Fruit and Other Things'' (2018-2019) is a project created in collaboration with artist Lenka Clayton commissioned by the Carnegie Museum of Art for the 2018 iteration of the Carnegie International. The project pulls from the specific context and history of the Carnegie International, which in its earliest years, selected artworks for its exhibitions from an international competition. From 1896 to 1931, artists submitted artworks to be considered for the exhibition, and the museum kept not only detailed records of the accepted works, but of those that were rejected as well. Over this 35 year span, 10,632 artworks were rejected from the exhibitions. Malevolent Creation
Malevolent Creation is an American death metal band formed in Buffalo, New York in 1987 and later based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The band's original members were rhythm guitarist Phil Fasciana, vocalist Brett Hoffmann, lead guitarist Jim Nickles, bassist Jason Blachowicz and drummer Dennis Kubas. Fasciana is the only founding member who stayed with the band consistently. The band moved to Fort Lauderdale a year after it formed, and they became a part of the emergent local death metal scene, landing a deal with Roadrunner Records and helping to develop the Florida death metal sound.
