Jason Cullen
Jason Cullen (born 11 June 1988) is an Irish professional darts player who currently plays in the Professional Darts Corporation events. Darts career Cullen has represented the Republic of Ireland in the WDF Europe Cup Youth in 2004 and was runner-up in the Singles. He also played in the WDF World Cupin Perth and in 2012 he was in his national team for the WDF Europe Cup and the Six Nations Cup. Cullen qualified for the 2013 BDO World Championship. In the first round he played the number 11 seed Martin Atkins and won 3–1, but lost to Paul Jennings in the Second round. He won the fourth PDC Challenge Tour of 2018, defeating Cameron Menzies in the final. 2013 BDO World Darts Championship
The 2013 Lakeside World Professional Darts Championship was the 36th World Championship organised by the British Darts Organisation, and the 28th staging at the Lakeside Country Club at Frimley Green. Christian Kist was the defending men's champion, having won the title for the first time in 2012, but was knocked out in the first round against Robbie Green. Scott Waites, the third seed and pre-tournament favourite, won his first world championship by defeating Tony O'Shea 7–1, who became the first man to lose his first three BDO World Championship finals. Anastasia Dobromyslova defended her world title by defeating Lisa Ashton & in doing so, won the world championship for the 3rd time. Kyle McKinstry (born 26 August 1986) is a Northern Irish professional darts player who is currently serving an eight-year ban from the sport after admitting to match fixing in 2020. Career In 2017, McKinstry won the Hal Masters and the Northern Ireland Open. He qualified for the 2018 BDO World Darts Championship as number 17 in the BDO rankings, but he lost 3–2 to Richard Veenstra in the first round. The following year, he qualified for the tournament once again, and has beaten Chris Landman 3–2 in the first round, David Cameron 4–3 in the second round and losing to Glen Durrant 5–2 in the Quarter Finals. Cameron Menzies
Cameron Menzies (born 27 June 1989) is a Scottish darts player who plays in events of the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Career BDO Menzies first played darts on the BDO circuit in 2006, playing in the Gibraltar Open. However, he did not emerge to prominence until 2016 where he won the British Open. He played in the 2016 World Masters but lost to Irish darts player John O'Shea in the last 80. In 2017 he became the first Scottish player to win the Scottish Open in 10 years when Gary Anderson won it. He qualified for the 2017 BDO World Trophy through the regional qualifiers. He reached the semi-finals of the 2017 World Masters before losing to eventual champion Krzysztof Ratajski. Paul Jennings (darts Player)
Paul Jennings (born 22 September 1976) is an English former darts player who competed in British Darts Organisation (BDO) events. Career A native of Hartlepool in the north-east of the country, Jennings came to wider attention when he qualified for the 2012 BDO World Darts Championship. After defeating Garry Thompson 3-1 in the first round, Jennings defeated Steve Douglas 4-2 in their second round clash. He lost to fellow tournament debutant Wesley Harms in the quarter-finals, being defeated 5-3 in sets. Despite a difficult 2012 season, Jennings once again qualified for the BDO World Championship in 2013. His first round opponent was sixth seed Ross Montgomery. British Darts Organisation
The British Darts Organisation (BDO) was a darts organisation founded on 7 January 1973 by Olly Croft. Made up of 66 member counties, it oversaw professional, semi-professional and amateur darts competitions in Britain. The BDO was a founder member of the World Darts Federation in 1976. It also staged a BDO World Darts Championship, World Professional Darts Championship from 1978 to 2020. In the early 1990s, a dispute between Olly Croft and the top darts players over the decline in TV coverage and sponsorship led to an acrimonious Split in darts, split in the game, with the players breaking away to form their own governing body which became the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). The WDF Europe Cup is a darts tournament held biennially since 1978. The tournament consists of a team championship, a pairs championship and a singles championship. All events have a men's competition, and a women's competition (since 1982).
