Jarryn Geary
Jarryn Geary (born 23 June 1988) is a retired Australian rules footballer who played for the St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Geary was List of St Kilda Football Club captains, St Kilda captain from 2017 to 2020 and co-captain in 2021. Junior career Geary played junior football with the Eaglehawk Football Club, which led to his selection to play in the state-wide junior competition, the TAC Cup, for the Bendigo Pioneers. Despite winning Bendigo's under-18s' best and fairest player award in 2006, he was overlooked in the AFL national draft. Generally seen as a running half-back or midfield player, Geary was selected by St Kilda with pick 58 in the 2006 AFL Rookie Draft, a busy rookie draft for the Saints which also saw Clinton Jones (footballer), Clinton Jones, Luke van Rheenen, Robert Eddy, James Wall and Jayden Attard selected. Bendigo Pioneers
The Bendigo Pioneers is an Australian rules football team in the statewide Victorian under-18s league, the NAB League. Synopsis The Bendigo Pioneers is an Australian rules football team playing in NAB League since 1993 based in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia. The idea behind the Bendigo Pioneers is to train its players and condition them for professional football. The team is divided into under-15s, under-16s, and under-18s. The Pioneers train at Epsom/Huntly Oval, Epsom, Victoria, Epsom. Their jersey colors are blue, white and yellow with blue, white and yellow socks and blue (home) or white (away) shorts. Jack Steele
Jack Steele (born 13 December 1995) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He previously played for the Greater Western Sydney Giants from 2015 to 2016. Steele has won two Trevor Barker Awards and is a dual All-Australian. He served as St Kilda co-captain in 2021, and has served as the sole captain since the 2022 season. Early life Steele is from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory (ACT). Nick Riewoldt
Nicholas Fredrick Riewoldt ( ; born 17 October 1982) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Stephen Milne (born 8 March 1980) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). A small forward, he held the record for the most games played by a player originally drafted via the Rookie Draft, however this was surpassed by the West Coast Eagles' Dean Cox in early 2014. Jason Blake (born 15 March 1981) is a former Australian rules footballer for the St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). An "undersized tall defender and occasional ruckman", he held the record for the most games played (209) without receiving any Brownlow Medal votes until he eventually received two Brownlow votes for Round 11 in 2012. Justin Koschitzke
Justin Gregory Koschitzke (born 20 September 1982) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League. He played 200 games and kicked 247 goals for the club between 2001 and 2013. Hailing from the small town of Brocklesby, New South Wales, Koschitzke was taken with the second overall pick in the 2000 AFL National Draft. He debuted in round three of the 2001 season and then played every game for the rest of the year, subsequently winning the AFL Rising Star award.
