Jarryd James Klapper (born December 1984, in Brisbane) is an Australian singer, songwriter and record producer who performs as Jarryd James. He released his debut single "Do You Remember" on 30 January 2015, which peaked at No. 2 on the ARIA Singles Chart. His debut album, '' Thirty One'', also reached No. 2 on the related ARIA Albums Chart. At the ARIA Music Awards of 2015, James won Best Pop Release for "Do You Remember". Career 2007–2018: Beginnings and ''Thirty One'' Jarryd first enjoyed moderate success from playing guitar and singing in a band called Holland. They recorded a debut album that was never released for mysterious reasons. Jarryd claimed he was frustrated and that their album never arrived on store shelves due to 'management issues'. ''High'' is the second extended play (EP) by Australian alternative pop singer-songwriter and producer Jarryd James. The EP was released on 29 July 2016 and debuted and peaked at no. 40 on the ARIA Charts, ARIA Albums Chart. James collaborated with many sought-after producers, including long-time collaborator Joel Little, Mikky Ekko, Tobias Jesso Jr and Pop & Oak, Andrew "Pop" Wansel. Upon release of the EP, James explained his songwriting; "I tend to only focus on the melodies and whatever happens instrumentally is just what feels right. ''Thirty One'' is the debut studio album by Australian singer-songwriter, Jarryd James. It debuted at number 2 on the Australian ARIA Chart in September 2015. At the J Awards of 2015, the album was nominated for Australian Album of the Year. Background Throughout 2014, James was working as a full time youth worker. James supported New Zealand group Broods on their late 2014 Australian tour and Angus & Julia Stone on their February 2015 tour. The Official New Zealand Music Chart ( mi, Te Papa Tātai Waiata Matua o Aotearoa) is the weekly New Zealand top 40 singles and albums charts, issued weekly by Recorded Music NZ (formerly Recording Industry Association of New Zealand). Album In March 2017, Logan Lynn appeared on an hour-long episode of actor and comedian Jay Mohr's ''Mohr Stories'' podcast.
