Jarosław Kukulski
Jarosław Kazimierz Kukulski (25 May 1944 – 13 September 2010) was a Polish composer. He was the husband of late singer Anna Jantar and the father of singer Natalia Kukulska. Early life Kukulski was born on May 25, 1944, in Września to Maria and Kazimierz Kukulski. In 1967, Kukulski graduated from Poznań Secondary Music School and the Instrumental Department of the State Higher School of Music in Poznań, where he learned to play the oboe. At the same time he completed an internship in Poznańska Opera and the Philharmonic in Zielona Góra. He collaborated with a cabaret ”Nurt” in Poznań. Career For a time, he played jazz in dixieland bands. In 1968, at the II Military Song Festival in Kołobrzeg, he received an award from the Ministry of National Defence (Poland), Ministry of National Defense for the song ''Zaślubinowy pierścień'' ('The Wedding Ring'). Anna Jantar-Kukulska (born Anna Maria Szmeterling; 10 June 1950 – 14 March 1980) was a Polish singer and the mother of singer Natalia Kukulska. She is considered an icon of Polish pop music, and also one of the popular and famous Polish singers of the 1970s. Early and personal life Jantar was born in Poznań on 10 June 1950, one of two children born to Józef Szmeterling (1925–1997) and Halina, née Surmacewicz (1924–2016). On 1 July 1950, she was baptized at the Church of Holy Savior in Poznań, receiving the names Anna Maria. From an early age she showed a talent for singing. For almost three years, she attended a music kindergarten at the State Higher School of Music, where she studied piano. Września (german: Wreschen) is a town in west-central Poland with 28,600 inhabitants (1995). It is situated in the Września County, Greater Poland Voivodeship (since 1999), previously in Poznań Voivodeship (1975–1998), on the Wrześnica River. Poznań Town Hall ( pl, ratusz w Poznaniu) is a historic city hall in the city of Poznań, Poland, located at the Poznań Old Town in the centre of Old Market Square. It used to serve as the seat of local government until 1939, and now houses a museum. Bogusław Mec (21 January 1947 – 11 March 2012) was a Polish singer, songwriter, composer, and artist. Budka Suflera (, " prompter's box") was a Polish rock band which was started in 1969 in Lublin by Krzysztof Cugowski. Although they disbanded soon after, Cugowski and Romuald Lipko reformed the band in 1974 and were active until 2014.
