Butterfinger (Canadian Band)
Butterfinger was a Saskatchewan-based Canadian alternative rock band which released one independently recorded studio album. Their song ''Breathe'' won several awards including the national songwriting competition in conjunction with Canadian Music Week in 2001. Its success inspired the band to work on a full-length album, directed by Producer, Mixer, and Engineer Jared Kuemper. Butterfinger was nominated for "Outstanding Rock Recording" at the Western Canadian Music Awards in 2003. In November 2003, Butterfinger was awarded a VideoFACT grant to shoot a music video for the song ''Do You Feel?''. They were one of only 40 to receive the grant out of the 284 submissions. The video was produced by a Toronto film company called Firewatch Films. Aaron Pritchett (born August 2, 1970) is a Canadian country music singer. He has one #1 hit on the ''Billboard'' Canada Country chart with " Better When I Do". Biography Pritchett got his start as a DJ at Rooster's Country Cabaret bar in Pitt Meadows, BC, and played in a house band performing cover tunes. He recorded his first album in 1996 titled ''Young in Love''. In 2001, after years of playing clubs in BC and Alberta, Pritchett entered a singing contest called "Project Discovery" sponsored by CMT and won a professional music video directed by internationally acclaimed director, Steven Goldmann as well as $10,000 cash. Jason Falkner (born June 2, 1968) is an American songwriter, musician, and guitarist who was a member of the bands Jellyfish, the Three O'Clock, and the Grays. Since 1996, he has released six solo albums, starting with '' Presents Author Unknown''. He is also a session musician and producer who has contributed to dozens of recordings by other bands and musicians.
