Janus Drachmann
Janus Mats Drachmann (born 11 May 1988) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Danish Superliga side AC Horsens. Born in Frederikssund, Drachmann emerged from the AC Horsens academy in 2006, and grew into a key player in midfield for the club, as well as the team captain. He since played for SønderjyskE and Midtjylland, before signing with OB in 2018. Drachmann is a youth international for Denmark, having gained caps for the under-20 and under-21 sides. Club career Horsens Drachmann came to AC Horsens as an 18-year-old in the summer of 2006, to complete his education, and at the same time develop as a player on the club's reserve team. Allan Søgaard (born 20 January 1978) is a former Danish football (soccer) player, spent his entire career playing for the Danish Superliga side AC Horsens. His normal position was as a defensive midfielder. He was known as a pacy player, with a major dedication to his team. Søgaard played a huge part in AC Horsens' promotion to the Superliga in 2005, and kept up his importance for the team during the first Superliga season. The 2021–22 Danish 1st Division season is the 26th season of the Danish 1st Division league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. Participants Lyngby Boldklub and AC Horsens finished the 2020–21 season of the Superliga in 11th and 12th place, respectively, and were relegated to the 1st Division. They replaced Viborg FF and Silkeborg IF, who were promoted to the 2021–22 Danish Superliga. Nykøbing FC and Jammerbugt FC won promotion from the 2020–21 Danish 2nd Divisions. The 2017–18 Danish Superliga season was the 28th season of the Danish Superliga, which decides the Danish football championship. Copenhagen are the defending champions. Teams Esbjerg fB finished as loser in the relegation play-offs in the 2016–17 season and was relegated to the 2017–18 1st Division along with Viborg FF who lost their relegation play-off as well. The relegated teams were replaced by 2016–17 1st Division champions Hobro IK (returned after one year of absence) and 3rd-place finisher FC Helsingør (returned to the top division for the first time since the 1936–37 season), who defeated Viborg FF in the two legged play-off finals. The 1st Division (''1. Division'') is the second-highest football league in Denmark, also known as NordicBet Liga for sponsorship reasons. From 1945 to 1991 the 1. Division was the name of the highest level of football in Denmark. With the formation of the Danish Superliga, the 1st Division became the second tier of Danish football. Jakob Saldern Stein Michelsen (born 30 September 1980) is a Danish football manager. He is currently the manager of Norwegian Eliteserien club HamKam. Jakob Michelsen was selected coach of the year in Denmark in 2015. He was the coach behind the sensational silver medals for SønderjyskE in 2016 and the good run in Euro League for the club. Gustav Mendonça Wikheim (born 18 March 1993) is a Norwegian footballer who plays for Djurgårdens IF as a winger. Career Strømsgodset Wikheim made his debut for Strømsgodset on 10 April 2011 against Odd, in a match his club won 2–0. He scored his first goal in a 2–1 loss against Molde on 23 March 2012. Football Club Nordsjælland, commonly known as FC Nordsjælland, Nordsjælland () or FCN, is a professional Danish football team from the North Zealand town of Farum. Founded as ''Farum Boldklub'' from the merger of the town's two football clubs Farum IK and Stavnsholt BK in 1991, the club changed its name to FC Nordsjælland in 2003. Simon Kroon (born 16 June 1993) is a Swedish footballer who plays for Östersunds FK in Superettan. He is the son of the former athletes Johnny Kroon and Annika Lorentzon. The Danish Cup ( da, Landspokalturneringen; often referred to as Pokalen) is the official "knockout" cup competition in Danish football, run by the Danish Football Association. The cup has been contested annually since 1955. The winner will qualify for the UEFA Europa League tournament the following year, where they (as of the 2009–10 season) will enter in the third qualifying round.
