2021–22 Danish 1st Division
The 2021–22 Danish 1st Division season is the 26th season of the Danish 1st Division league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. Participants Lyngby Boldklub and AC Horsens finished the 2020–21 season of the Superliga in 11th and 12th place, respectively, and were relegated to the 1st Division. They replaced Viborg FF and Silkeborg IF, who were promoted to the 2021–22 Danish Superliga. Nykøbing FC and Jammerbugt FC won promotion from the 2020–21 Danish 2nd Divisions. The 2020–21 Danish 1st Division season is the 25th season of the Danish 1st Division league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. From this season a promotion round for the six best placed teams and a relegation round for the six lowest placed teams are introduced. The top two teams of the promotion round are promoted to the 2021–22 Danish Superliga. The teams in 11th and 12th places are relegated to the 2021–22 Danish 2nd Division. Participants Silkeborg IF, and Esbjerg fB finished last in the 2019–20 Danish Superliga relegation play-off and were relegated to the 1st Division. Hobro IK lost to Lyngby Boldklub in the relegation play off and was relegated as well. Vejle Boldklub was promoted to the 2020–21 Danish Superliga. Nykøbing FC, FC Roskilde and Næstved BK were relegated to the 2020–21 Danish 2nd Divisions. Boldklubben Fremad Amager (meaning in English: The Ball Club Forward Amager ; abbreviated Fremad A) is a Danish professional football club based in the district of Amager Vest, Copenhagen. Fredericia New Stadium
Fredericia Stadium (Danish: Fredericia Stadion ; currently known as Monjasa Park for sponsorship reasons) is a football stadium in Fredericia, Denmark. It opened on 2 September 2006, as the new home ground for Danish 1st Division club FC Fredericia. It has a capacity of 4,000, of which 1,400 are seated. In May 2020, Fredericia Municipality announced at a press conference plans for upgrading Monjasa Park. A new stand with a seating capacity of 1,400 and terracing able to hold 500 away-fans were planned for construction before the end of the year. Forum Horsens Arena, known as CASA Arena Horsens for sponsorship reasons, is a stadium in Horsens, Denmark.
