Janni Bach
Janni Bach (born 28 April 1966) is a Danish-born, former Australian female handball player. Early life She played handball from the age of five, made her Denmark junior women's national handball team debut at age 17, and was chosen for the Denmark women's national handball team in 1991. Personal life In 1997, her husband Peter—also a handball player—was offered a job in Australia, and the family relocated. Within weeks of arriving, both were recruited for the Australia women's national handball team and the Australia men's national handball team, respectively. Bach's son, Rasmus, is a professional basketball player. Career Bach was part of the team at the 2000 Summer Olympics, playing five matches. Rasmus Bach
Rasmus Bach (born 22 July 1995) is a Danish-Australian former professional basketball player. Born in Denmark, Bach grew up in Australia and then attended high school in the United States. Between 2013 and 2018, he played college basketball for the Fort Lewis Skyhawks. He began his professional career in Denmark before joining the New Zealand Breakers of the Australian NBL in 2020. After a season with the Brisbane Bullets, he retired in 2023. Bach has represented the Denmark national team and holds an Australian passport. Early life and career Bach was born in Denmark.
